TeerapatS Soyeon is a fellow group member of Minnie’s in the girl group (G)I-DLE. I don’t know whether she plays the keyboard or not but I called her an artist because she writes lyrics, composes and arranges music and is also one of the best female idol rappers out there!
Piano is one of important things in Minnie's family because her uncle is a pianist and all member in her family played the piano so Minnie grew up among beautiful sound of piano. That's the beginning of her dream on singer path.
Minnie's not just fluent in English, she can also fluently speak Korean, Thai, and a lot of Mandarin. She's a main vocalist but can also rap (she raps in 3 languages in their latest song) and has written some songs for the group. She can play the piano and has a unique talent for being able to whistle songs. I believe she has also studied or is studying photography and music composition. She's also known to some fans as a meme queen and has been acknowledged internationally by people including Troye Sivan and Wengie. Minnie looks badass on the outside but actually has a bubbly personality filled with laughter. She is a dark horse of (G)I-DLE and I hope she achieves her dream of being a global sensation. 💯💖

Yuju's live radio performance is far more pleasing, but that is partly because of the extreme dynamic compression in this recording. The piano sounds more like an organ, with a severely dulled attack and endless sustain, and when Minnie sings louder she doesn't sound louder. @@idleheart8600 This idol is also Thai, so I sense a bit of bias there. But I also support Southeast Kpop idols, because any idol that isn't Korean is so looked down upon in Korea. They're basically only used in the group to get support from the country they're from. Thais, in particular, are fiercely proud of their country and will support any of their people who go international. Discrimination is strong in Asia, and money talks.
Minnie just debuted last year and she is one of the best vocalist in kpop, when someone makes you cry singing is when you notice it. Minnie keep going! Forever supporting you!

Yep, many people don't know, but both of them are Main Vocalist. They just specialize in different aspects, Miyeon Power and Minnie Dreamness (Soothing Voice). Minnie is not Lead Vocal, that would be Yuqi. So both are Main Vocalist in the group.
Jeon Jungkook like CLC's Sorn, I know everybody know and Cube know too but she's foreigner maybe language or something but Minnei so different. hope she is successful with her own
@@nantakasuebsamran8769 Well people have thought that Sorn is Korean because of her Korean being exceptional. I think it's just weird decision making when giving her a position. But Sorn gets parts as if she was a main vocal nonetheless though so it's all good.
Hmm,you maybe on to something. Kpop group have been having Japanese and Chinese versions of their songs. Maybe the next move of kpop is English version?

Western pop is biased towards certain ethnicities. Asian artists are certainly breaking into the American market but those that broke in are more exceptional.

I love how cube did this. They let her actually show her talents even though its already seen on stages, but sometimes, these types of songs really show how talented one could be.
(G)-idle songs are awesome but you're not able to fully appreciate all their vocals because of the style of the song, thats why I appreciate solo covers like these as you can really get to see individual members voices. This is what I'm looking for in kpop. She has unique voice than the usual kpop groups who can belt out high notes. Most kpop singers voices are too general, yeah they can do high notes but singing isn't only for high notes. She really has a unique voice. Very distinct.
I mean... can't really compare slow songs to hype songs. Minnie sounds different when it comes to G Idle songs compared to a song like this because well, hype vs slow. It's not really rocket science. Not taking anything away from her, shes indeed unique and amazing.
i think artists with soft yet emotional voices are so underrated not only in the kpop industry but in the whole pop industry itself. here's hoping this makes people realise just how powerful simplicity and softness can be!

One of unique voice in kpop..minnie voice may not be strong like other kpop great vocalist..but i like her voice cause her voice are soulful and pleasant to hear..it has international / western vibes..so i think minnie can break the western market cause her voice has western vibes plus her pronouncation is good
She introduces herself as a power vocalist sometimes though. Been following them since their predebut days and I always thought Minnie will be the main vocal of the group and Miyeon was an unexpected addition (came to know about her from the dingo covers) and I absolutely love how they complement each other. Soojin was another unexpected addition to the group and that's why I love the group even more cuz everybody it's SOO to the JIN!

True!So many great vocalist out there but I think they just singing the song because I don't feel the connection with the music although they can slay the highnote and have a very good vocal technique.But Minnie just hit different.No wonder why she always crying when playing the piano
