Back in my days, all idols in the seating area waiting will be dancing moving along to the music. Hahaha reactions these days are kinda boring to me,,, remember when sj danced along to I'm the best, tablo's songs, f(x) songs. good old times
True.. but i remember the pain those days where some idols would be super tired but too afraid to sit (ie. yesung almost fainted while cheering).. i say this is better.. i don’t want other fandom to experience that pain like we elf do before..
i mean back then, the audience weren't really recording idols "reactions" to other idols back then. most reaction videos are fairly recent, with literally 100 cameras recording them throughout the whole show. and im pretty sure idols know that they are being recorded by many so they just don't react, to avoid getting into controversies and other shit that stupid fans make up. i don't blame them for not "reacting".
Idk if these kpop idols know or not, but your supposed to stand up when your senior is performing, idc how much money you have or how popular you are, SuJu will forever be your senior. It's a respect thing.
It's like idols nowadays react only when it's about them and the camera is focus because of them... I've watched clips of old awards shows and both the idols and fans cheers for the performer and now this it's just so sad... Makes me realize why I like SJ more than the idols now. They had character their not just and idol.
Lol back in the days the groups used to be cheerful and not sitting there as if they were bored. There was a part of the show that the MC was with SJ and they were messing around with him and the other groups were watching like bored.

I know idols have to behave in front of their fans or public in general but please, are we asking too much for wanting them to have more reaction to other idols' performances? I mean even when they applaud they do it like if someone just forced them. I can only count one who applauded excited or at least showing respect for Donghae and Eunhyuk. They won't hurt themselves for being more cheerful. Honesty I'm disappointed of them , it seems like they already forgot their enthusiasm. Super Junior have always shown their support. 😔

En grande debieron poner la presentación de D&E y en pequeño la reacción de los grupos ya que no perdiamos mucho al verlos, es una pena que no se diviertan (o que no lo demuestren) con tan grandiosa presentación de D&E, yo me quedo con la canción y la maravillosa coreografía de mis chicos. #SuperJunior #SuperJuniorDnE 💙💙

Idols reacting to other idols (male female,male male, female female) are not that fun to watch anymore...Its rly hard to find a crazy fancam of idols reaction these days, what i found is mostly seventeen,monsta x and ikon but welp yea...THATS IT. I'm sorry but this generation of idols are so lame. Every time I watch these reaction videos they are all just sitting there looking around. I can't tell if they are enjoying the performances or not. Feel like most idols are being more ''cautious'' how they react with 100 cameras filming them. I've seen some idols reacting but if they spot a camera filming them, they would stop which is really sad tbh

Podría equivocarme, pero yo sí creo que los artistas de estos días en ocasiones están cansados y hacen su mayor esfuerzo para poner buena cara a sus fans para animarlos y que no se preocupen. Por eso no me extraña que se queden sentados y más bien me gustó haber visto algunas reacciones sinceras, siguiendo el ritmo de la música o intentando aprender los pasos. No necesitaron tener un camarógrafo en frente como en otras ceremonias. Está bien si se paran a bailar y también si sólo escuchan, no veo ninguna falta de respeto en eso.
Everybody saying how the reactions are lame, but nobody addresses the fact that this is a consequence of toxic Stan culture, where people can't even see an idol cross glances for a second with another person without creating the most insane stories about the two or creating a scandal about how y disrespected z, and so on, they are probably told by their own companies not to react because of all that craziness.

La razón por la que los ídolos de ahora no muestran emociones positivas durante los performances de otros es porque dejaron de disfrutar la música (si no son ellos el centro de atención) lo han vuelto una competencia encarnizada y malsana, si no me creen chequen las estúpidas batallas por ver quien tiene más views y al punto que llegan, insultando horrible a otras personas. Me dirán "Todos los fandoms sin arenosos" y es cierto, pero también es cierto que el porcentaje de arena en cada fandom es distinto. Ojalá, algún día se vuelva a disfrutar de la buena musica sin tomar en cuenta qué tanta fama tenga.

Based on past videos, BTS don't seem to very big fans of SUJU's works. They show the proper respect and they're entitled to like whatever they want. It would've been really nice though if they were fans of SUJU. For God's sake, Hyuk and Shindong danced to BTS' "Idol"! I wish they got the same support from their Hoobaes. T_T
I was watching some more reaction videos and I saw V enjoying one of SJ Black Suit performances and Suga smiling when Heechul came out. I thought that BTS weren't here because they used to react quite a lot to other artists, and this looks strange because none of the other idols are reacting. I don't know if it's because of what people might say or because they were really tired, but D&E performance was great. BTW, can you tell me where I can see Hyukjae and Shindong dancing to Idol, please?

Muy pocas veces se han encontrado en premiaciones, a mi parecer. Pero he visto videos de BTS disfrutando de la música de SUJU en los MAMA, cuando cantaron _Shirt, This is love_ y _MAMACITA,_ además en GDA disfrutaron de _Black suit._ Son las únicas presentaciones que han realizado cuando ambos grupos van a tal premiación, que yo haya visto al menos. Y bueno desde que inició la pandemia no podemos ver las reacciones de los idols a las presentaciones, así que creo que esas posiblemente son las únicas presentaciones que han podido presenciar (refiriéndome a BTS) y al parecer la disfrutaron. Aunque no me quejo o considero que se deba 'sacrificar'/criticar a los idols por reaccionar o no a una presentación. Pero claro que sería agradable que lo hicieran, la verdad, porque se transmite un ambiente agradable y como espectador añade ese extra que te permite disfrutar de la premiación. Pero bueno, no todo les tiene que gustar, están en su derecho, está bien, estuvieron presentes viendo la presentación. Aunque si se siente un poco triste (como fan de los que rinden la presentación) porque solo subieron al escenario dos de ellos (de SJ), y hubiese sido genial un poco de apoyo. Evidentemente como ya dije nadie hizo nada malo, y no significa que los idols no tengan respeto, se entiende que puedan estar cansados o lo que sea. No me atrevo en absoluto a criticar a los idols por eso. Pero como expectador y una opinión general de esta premiación TMA 2019, de cierta forma el ambiente fue un poco decepcionante. Pero por otro lado, disfruté de las presentaciones, y cuando se anunciaron los ganadores.
3rd gen idols react and get horrible hate. They don't react and still get horrible hate. It's not like it once was. Fangirls and fanboys are much more malicious, even physically violent, towards idols that make them unhappy. They must protect their wellbeing and reputation much more than before...
I get reaction vids, but the amount of people who had their cameras pointed at the other idols rather than paying attention to Super Junior's stage is really disrespectful. Not everyone needs to capture reactions and not everyone needs to get pictures. Imagine being on stage only to find out the audience isn't even paying attention to you. It's heartbreaking to see that their hard work and dedication isn't even getting recognized or appreciated. Especially if the fans are in the floor sections, they at least should pay attention to the stage the most considering those are the fans the idols see first. The fact that almost an entire section in the front has their cameras pointed towards the other idols, and that Donghae himself noticed at 4:16, genuinely looking upset, is really sad. It happens to all the artists and I'm sure it doesn't help their confidence. I wish more people would pay attention to the stages considering we all know there are a few channels and people who always post reactions after.
