@@gomukaizoku no the idea of that show is, to create a complete vocal only act with human, every couch want to have the best score to win the mvp in that week. In my opinion its realy cool, to have 5 of south korea beatboxers there. And it is honestly nice to watch ;)

From its name VocalPlay, this show is based around making music only from the voices from people whether it be singers/ beatboxers/ rappers / accapella (you get the gist) without the use of MR (music recording). There are 4 famous producers who basically "pick" amongst these talented individuals/groups and then try to create a great performance depending on the theme of the performance which is different every week. I put pick in quotation marks since they can't just get the people they want. ( it's quite complicated to explain this picking part but I can explain it if you want). Other than that, most of the contestants here join this show in order to venture different perspectives of music they can make or pursue. And also to show the nation that kpop isn't the only one which is music lmao.

This is an accappela show so in this show there is no use of instruments ( every sound you hear is from the mouth ) people have the idea that accapela is just singing without instruments but its more than that . Its a procedure that mix different types of musical art expression ( Rap . Sing [ with all its types ] . Beatbox ..... ] and in this show they try to make accapella's performance with the various artists ( Rappers . Singers . Beatboxers ) that applied to the show . Its so far a competition cuz every producer team try to perform better that the other teams but its not a survival show ( no one is getting eliminated exept in the first draft stage ( it was like the audition for the show ) )
