Her KOMS appearances were my introduction to the workld of Sohyang shortly after the loss of my wife. Her performances of 'Breathe', 'Hug Me', and 'Home' completely captivated me emotionally. Her ability and technical skills are only matched by her impeccable conveyance of emotion, even with a mask, just sucks you in. All of her KOMS and 'Begin Again' peformances, especially 'Love Poem', 'Stay', and 'Wind Song', keep me in awe.
I don't even know what exactly makes me cry.. maybe the combination of her voice, the lyrics and empathizing with your feelings?? Anyway this song touches the depths of my heart..
So many people say Sohyang sounds like an angel. I disagree. I think the angels aspire to sound like her. A beautiful vocalist who was born with the raw materials and through sheer hard work and determination has blossomed into the singer we hear today. Amazing
The first verse shows the true magic Sohyang wields with her voice. It cuddles your heart and consoles your soul. Her power and exquisite technical control are just icing on the cake. I can't think of a better shelter for one's battered psyche in search of a respite from a storm life imposes on us. She sings to each single one of us. Her next performance of "Home" on King of Masked Singer is a beautiful and fitting follow-up to "Breathe".
The lyrics... it really heals us Jonghyun of Shinee composed this song and he's in heaven, this song is beautiful and comfort us and Sohyang beautifully sang this song. She's absolutely one of the best in the world.
Agree with Jay on all Sohyang's KOMS legendary stages. This song always gets me whenever I listen to it. Every single time, though more so when I'm feeling vulnerable. One of my top go-to songs when I need a good, cleansing cry.

The one who made this song was jonghyun he was a singer of shinee and he had a hard time and he committed suicide:( may he rest in peace he left the world with such a beautiful song.

The guy who wrote this song committed suicide a few years ago. He was only 27. The last part of the song says 'It's alright. I'll hold you. You've done well' as if he was telling it to himself. You know SoHyang is a very compassionate person and you can tell she's feeling the pain behind that mask.

i would love to see you react to the song writer of this song, kim jonghyun of shinee. he wrote this for lee hi and really got across how it is to live with depression and loneliness. sadly, he lost his battle with depression in 2017. I would suggest you watch his performance of "y si fuera ella".
I personally enjoy the original by Lee Hi more, So Hyang did sing it beautifully though...if you want to get even more emotional, you should listen to Lee Hi's version... she has a deeper voice than So Hyang but still hits the high notes, also this song is written by another singer for Lee Hi specifically, sadly he is no longer with us after commiting suicide (RIP Jonghyun of Shinee)
