"A child is someone who is half the person you love most and half you" honestly the best explanation anyone could ever give.

You see, Tablo wasn't just talking about typical haters when he talked about ppl saying malicious things about him. It was so much worse. Haters made an online group called "Tajinyo" that quickly gained over 190'000 members, claiming that Tablo's educational record was fake and painting him as a liar. It became frontpage news in Korea when they claimed Tablo couldn't have graduated from Stanford with both bachelors and masters degree in only three and a half years. Even when Tablo went as far as flying to Canada and having his Stanford documents re-printed on camera, they still called him a fraud. It was also around that time when his wife gave birth to their daughter but his family recieved death wishes instead of congratulations. Tablo himself said "It felt like the entire country decided to basically mindf*ck me". Eventually police filed an arrest warrant domestically and with Interpol after confirming Tablos entire academic history. Tablo also sued 22 people for criminal defamation. During the trials however, Tablo's father sadly passed away. He was already ill but the stress from all of this probably was the last straw, which makes his story even more bitter and sad.

Fun fact : You can see Tablo's wife, Kang Hyejung, as a main character in the movie, "Old Boy". She is an actress and the movie is an outstanding masterpiece , like Quentin Tarantino is a HUGE fan of this movie.

I hope you'll get to know Tablo's story too. The struggles, the criticisms, the malicious rumors, etc. It's as heartbreaking as BTS's story. I'm so glad that Epik High and BTS are such good friends.

I'm honestly glad that BTS, specifically Yoongi and Namjoon have someone like Tablo to talk to and confide in given how much hate and malicious comments and rumors get spread about BTS. Tablo's career was almost destroyed because of malicious defamatory rumors. He was also the target of very malicious and violent stalking. I think knowing his story is very important as fans of really anyone because it's a cautionary tale of boundaries and respect. We as fans, are not owed anything from the boys but recently it's gotten so bad. We used to be so good about shooting down stalkers, not sharing or spreading fansite (AKA stalkers) photos, beating down solos and mantis, calling out the toxicity and misinformation but over the past few years it's gotten so bad and I fear over the next two years of solo releases it's just going to get worse. I mean we are already seeing an uptick in ridiculous victimization narratives and "rumors" of favoritism being spread by solos/mantis who refuse to acknowledge that each of the boys are individuals with unique interests and will therefore have very different release schedules that fit them. Like it's really wild that people can't seem to grapple with that fact that just because they personally don't like how a member is doing their promotions doesn't mean there is some shady favoritism or neglect going on lmao. People just need to admit that they don't like the ways the members are doing things and move on instead of pretending like there is some insidious conspiracy going on. It's so tiring to see every comeback people complaining about not liking how the solo album/song releases are going. Sorry for rambling, this is just something that has been sitting heavy in my brain and heart for a while now and I just hope that the boys continue to do what THEY want to do and ignore all these so called "fans" demanding that they do things a specific way. Tablo is a legend in Korean hip-hop.. He went through a lot.. And by a lot I mean A LOT.. I feel like he received the hate any other idol has ever got.. There's a podcast series named 'Authentic The story of Tablo' you can hear if you are interested.. His wife Kang Hye jung is an actress.. You can watch her in the movie Old boy.. It's really good.. He was once cast with his daughter Haru in a show called 'The return of Superman' where he takes care of his daughter in the absence of his wife.. His daughter was so understanding even though she was just 3 yrs old in that show..

Tablo and Namjoon are the same. The lyricist skill, great English, very high IQ, warmbook and hell yeah both can’t drive.

Tablo and Epik High are managed by the brother of Erik Nam (a Korean-American idol that you probably know from shows like After School Club back in the day, BTS was on it) and Tablo used to have a podcast where he talks about his life in Canada and he's way more candid on there. He stopped doing the podcast for a while but they're still uploaded on RU-vid and Spotify. You can see some highlights on RU-vid, they're super funny. Also, Tablo and his daughter Haru used to be on this show called Return of Superman which is about famous dads and their young children. This was back when Haru was a toddler. That might be why many young people know him as "Haru's father" and not Epik High because that show was extremely popular and reintroduced Tablo back into Korean society after there was a literal hate train against him. Tablo is married to an actress as well who was part of the show.

tbh i know tablo from a program 'the return of superman' which he appears with his adorable daughter, haru. after that i started to know about epik high. when i heard bts mentioned epik high im so happy and amazed. its like the two world collides hahaahaha its an amazing feeling

we learn so much about yoongi in these episodes but also other artists that even though I heard of, I still learn more than i have ever even as a multifan. it's really interesting learning about each person's different philosophies and vulnerabilities. and also continue to show how humble yoongi and bts are looking up to a lot of people and even giving helpful advice that doesn't seem too cocky.

Suga and RM always mention epik high on there earlier song. His a great rapper and record producer. and you should watch return of Superman a Korean show. It a show that fallow celebrity dad's that take care of there kids without there wives. His daughter Haru is so sweet. And " umbrella" is a great song to listen. Epik high are bunch of goofy middle age men with funny sense of humor.

I've known TABLO since 2017 when I started watching TROS (a reality show where celebrity dads take care of their kids w/o moms for a day). Then I discovered his music and I have to say he maybe has some of the deepest lyrics in k-pop n they hit the spot always My fav song - home is far away

Tablo and Epik High are amazing. I became familiar with them after seeing them referenced so much in BTS lyrics, so I got curious. When they toured last year, I went to their concert, and it ROCKED! I had such a good time. My favourite song of theirs is probably "Rosario", but really they're all good, and they have slightly different moods, so it's hard to pick a favourite. Tablo, like RM, has a really high IQ and has a great amount of empathy for people (despite what he's gone through in life), and his lyricism is really a cool bridge between RM and Suga's styles, in that he can both write with subtle wit and wordplay and also be really emotionally evocative, straight-forward, and hard-hitting.

Taboo family was on the reality famous show " The Return of Superman " for two years 2013 - 2015. The reason every Korean knows about Haru.Also his wife is famous actress too. I watched all episodes.

Ahhh Familia!! This is probably my favorite episode. I am a big Highskool fan since 2010 and a fan of Tablo. I was very much inspired by him for quite a long time. Some ARMYs and Highskoolers already mentioned Tablo’s history so I’m not gonna add onto it anymore but because of his history, it brought tears onto our eyes when Tablo mentioned about his dreams because WE KNOW how much he meant it. It warms my heart that because of yoongi, a lot of people are FINALLY recognizing great artists. I found out about Tablo when he was on a family program called Return of Superman with his daughter when she was 7 years old at the time. I got into his music at that time. Still love that show its where celebrities dad have to spend 48 hours with their kids without the mom. Tablo Had issues when ppl didn't believe he graduated from Stanford. It almost ruined his career as his wife's career she is an actress btw. It was when their daughter was just born too. So sad time for them but I'm glad they got thru it they are wonderful family.

BTS are like a close comforting friend whom gives me advice while Epik High to me are like a parental figure who helps guide me. Fact: Tablo has a higher IQ then Joon! Tablo saying he doesn't wish anything he went though to others even to his haters speaks volume !!. He life was about to be over because of such hatred. You must know about fan cafes in korea but there are also Anti-fan cafes. People rumored about him so bad!! That anti-fan cafe had 100k people just hating on him. I just can't imagine. He stood strong and kept working. His songs especially fly is everything.

I recommend you to listen to Tablo podcast. He is such a witty, smart and funny guy it's a real pleasure to listen to his stories.

Ive only heard a couple of songs from epik high but i was a fan of tablos podcast and have seen several interviews cause i just love his brain lmao, his opinions are really interesting and he has a way of expressing himself that just amazes me, i could hear him speak about the most random topics for hours. He's really funny and really really smart, you can tell he's a writer when he speaks and its so easy to see why rm and suga would click so well with him. I really do reccomend his podcast, he no longer does new episodes but the old ones are there and theyre so entertaining.

There was an article that talks about table’s struggle. He really went through a lot and his family too. I can’t believe he lived through all those he earned more respect. He’s such a good influence to the boys I’m happy they’re surrounded with people like him. Just a little insight to his past, he was accused of f*rging his Standford certificate and qualification and basically the whole nation of K*ores threw hate at him, his cousin started all the rumour. No one believed him and everyone listened to lied they were convinced he bought his way in. He also finish his degree and master in such a short time because he’s simply a genius but people found that suspicious. Long story short, he was coped up in his house for years, his wife and his newborn at that time received de*th threats, his mom received calls calling her names. Ahh my heart break for him when I read it.

ARMYs also have good relationship with tablo and Epik High. They are real since day 1. Humble, Kind and Great Musicians!💜

So amazing to learn Tablo is into creative writing. I looked up and purchased a couple of his books 🤩 BTS is just a gift / gateway that keeps on giving. Their music and outlook in life helped me become better person (least try to) and they open up the door for me to know more musicians and books 🤩

Epik High is great honestly. Tablo, especially, has been through soooo much, it’s genuinely really upsetting to hear. I’m glad the boys have someone like him and his team as close friends. It’s nice to see.

haru is a bit of a little celebrity herself! mainly when she was small, for a while tablo and his family were a regular cast on a korean tv program called "return of superman," featuring celebrity dads and their kids. haru was definitely a fan favorite!! i remember growing up watching them on tv, tablo really is such a good dad. i can't tell you how crazy it is knowing that haru is now almost 13 years old 🤯

Tablo is known for his great podcasts. I used to listen to him all the time. He's really like a virtual friend helping you through your day. It's like free therapy 🥺

This interview was one of the most humble and wholesome. I loved every minute of it. The ending where Tablo was saying he doesn’t even want his enemies to experience the hate he got is probably referring more to the awful and dark time he and his whole family had to go through and suffered bc of vicious cyber bullying (if you could call it that). He has a whole podcast where he recounts the terrifying, hurtful and sad event (you can find it on Spotify). But needless to say, he still came out as humble as ever.

Tablo's daughter haru was in the show the return of superman when she was way younger . She is such a cute child. I actually found about tablo because of Haru.

I've known Epic High since 2012 and love so much their songs. My personal favourite songs are Tablo's solos Airbag and Dear TV. Huge recommendation!

I really love Tablo and Epik High. I've been to one of their concerts last month and it was incredible! Tablo was really funny on stage too. One of my favourite sings is probably still Acceptance Speech. For their last Album Strawberry, they didn't really do much promotions, apart from tablo spamming strawberry memes on twitter. it wasn't just us xD In general he feels like ARMY's bestie, he interacts a lot with us and it's a lot of fun.

I know Tablo because RM and Yoongi always talks about their admiration for Epik High since their debut days. I watched some parts of The return of superman (a tv show which celebrity dads taking care of their children on daily basis) he was on this show with his daughter Haru around in 2014, she is so cute and smart. If no one has mentioned there’s an article in Stanford magazine that discusses what he went thru 10/20 years ago. It’s crazy. Classic example of Internet culture gone wrong. Appreciated him much more after that and bought their album to support. His track on RM’s album is one of my favorite. I think it's a given that if you like BTS then you will also like Epik High. Everyone has their own unique rap style, but their influence on the rap line is really obvious once you hear their music (strong melody lines, brilliant lyrics and word play, uplifting messages, emotional vulnerability but not afraid to flex). I was a High Skooler first but the minute I heard BTS rap line songs, I knew I would become ARMY. I don't know how anyone could like one and not the other.

The things that Tablo went through are truly mind blowing my bad. The podcast Authentic: The Story of Tablo goes into detail about what he went through, and it will give you a new found appreciation for him and his resilience.

I believe "Dionysus" was playing bcuz Dionysus is Greek god of wine and the lyrics says "drink it up" but on a deeper level, the song is about being drunk in art/music. 😊

Familia, if you want to know about Tablo's struggles, you should listen to a podcast called "Authentic: The story of Tablo". He went needlessly through one of the worst cases of cyberbullying/bullying I've ever heard about, and it was after they blew up with Fly and the album, and he already had a baby. It was ridiculous. I couldn't believe this could happen to someone when I learned about it. That's why he said that he doesn't wish that kind of pain even to his haters/enemies.

Familia. I really recommend you listening to Tablos podcast where he talks about what happened to him. It truly is an inspiring story. Basically he was targeted by what we call now cyber bullying. A modern day witch hunt.

I have rewatched this a few times. BTS introduced me to Epik High and I have never been so grateful. Their music is something I didn't know I needed until I found it. Now learning more about his history, he is so strong and I am so grateful that Joon and Yoongi can call him a good friend. Some of his strength can provide a light when they need it. When I saw the teaser it took me only a few seconds longer than Joon to figure out it was Tablo and I squealed lol. Then I watched it again to squeal more lol

I recommend you watch Epik Hig - Fly. It was one of the reasons that inspired both suga and rm to get into rapping :) they covered it multiple times also in in the soop 2. it was really popular back in the day (I’ll feel so old 🫠)

A few weeks ago, ARMYs were commenting on Twitter that we need to get Tablo on Suchwita. Tablo commented - “there’s a campaign to get me on Suchwita?🤣”. For sure he had already taped it, we had no idea! 🤣. He also tweeted that lots of his friends texted him in the middle of the night that JK was singing his song Airbag on Weverse live.

The first time i hear of Tablo was when he released the song "Tomorrow" with Taeyang in 2011. I watched him a bit in Return of the superman which is a show where famous actors/singers go with their families and that's how a lot of people start talking about him more,especially calling him Haru's dad. The first time i really listened to Epik High was with Born Hater in 2014 because it featured other rappers and i knew about Mino (who is in the group Winner) and Bobby and B.I (both in the group iKon,but B.I had to leave)

since you guys were mentioning the similarities between RM and tablo, i thought you might be interested to know that tablo is actually one of the few artists with an IQ higher than RM's, at 160 (which is the same as einstein!) so they also have genius in common hahah

I really loved this episode of Suchwita familia. So many people have given lots and lots of great information about Tablo and Epik High. So my contribution will be my favourite songs from them. ‘Love Love Love’ ‘Fan’ ‘One’ and ‘Map of the Soul’ which are my favourite Epik High songs and ones I would highly recommend. I also loved JK’s cover of Airbag so so much. I also used to watch the k-variety show ‘The return of Superman’ which featured Tablo and his daughter Haru as part of the cast in the first season. In the show celebrity fathers would be in charge of looking after their children for a few days each time without their partner. The show is still ongoing but with a different cast. What I truly enjoyed about this ep was the depth of the conversation. Also in regards to the BTS and strawberry memes… it was hilarious and as you saw with the pic of Tae and the caption ‘Human Strawberry’ 70 to 80% of the pics were of Tae and Strawberries… as you know by now Tae and his love affair with strawberries is well documented through pictures, memes and gifs. :)🍓💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 P.s the memes, gifs, clips etc that you use in your vids truly make the videos even more fun.
