Better late than never to discover Astro. They have always been an upbeat, bright, good vibes group but as they have aged their songs are getting more and more mature but still staying in their bright upbeat lane which I love. They are not trying to go “bad boy” vibes bc if you watch their Astro reality shows as individuals they don’t come off that way at all. They really have a hyung close relationship and that sincerity comes through.
The dude's style you liked is Jinjin the leader. The entire group is the very definition of duality. He is a softy teddy bear yet he has some videos where he hard-core growl raps then other behind the scenes where he is the daddy care-taker of the group helping injured members and making sure they all get fed. Also is the brunt of many of their jokes. They love to tease Jinjin. The vocal at the 2:55 mark is MJ, the one with the purple hair. He just enlisted so he is missing from the promotions. He is called the main vocal though most of them can belt. If it is a high note, most of the time it is MJ, followed by Moonbin (the first vocal you went 'ok vocals' at), Eunwoo (guy in the brown jacket on the motorcycle), Sanha (In the pool chair and is the makne) and Rocky (the other rapper...yes, the other rapper). Rocky is actually covering the main riff up MJ does in the live show promotions. He is also the designated-fast rapper. Watch 'One' to see how fast he can rap. This is a return to Astro. It is a 'Baby' 2.0 or reminiscent of Baby, another bright, catchy song. Also, always, always, watch the dance practices. They are underrated synchronization kings.

so so funny watching this guy. looked from the beginning he wanted to, was loving it. i never start out rocking so fast haha, even on my beloved astro's song I'm like, listening before I jam. also wow, looked like he was mad to something while rocking it out, until here 2:43 then he looked pleased and matched the head movement. anyway, thank you for reacting to astro and yes, in general this is their normal style - happy pick-me-ups

Really exited for the Astro series This new song is very reminiscent of Astro's older songs and concepts as in recent years the group has been going for a more mature style so it's refreshing to see that their past couple of comebacks have been more light hearted and funky just like their older songs Astro are very recognised for their dancing They are very in sync with each other and have lots of unique choreographys compared to other artists as the group is known for combining lots of Jazz and Ballet moves into their choreographys Astro are actually under Fantagio ent which back in the mid 2000s was only a movie and TV show production company tho in the late 2000s they expanded a lot and created lots of sub labels for music,TV and even food ect Since the company was originally just for actors it means that they try to push their artists into acting and have quite a few recognizable actors One of those actor being Cha Eunwoo of Astro It's kinda sad tho for a really long time most people only got into Astro because of Eunwoo Eunwoo is very talented tho till this day hes still considered perfect for his looks basically Eunwoo has never had plastic surgery and is naturally a very handsome artist who fits the ideal Korean beauty standards so he's very loved tho not many people recognise him for his talents In recent years many of the other members have also got into acting and before Astro debuted they actually shot a 12 ep Web drama called To be continued which focused on the Group and their Space/Time travel concept It's also about the group members forming a boy group Even tho the members were around 14-21 when they shot the show The acting in it isn't that cringy Astro means star in Spanish You will find that in their earlier MVS the members can sort of travel between dimensions or other wacky things tho in later videos this time travel concept sort of dies out however the lyrics in a lot of their songs still keep the previous time travel theme
my ults are astro and svt so im excited that you are doing an astro series. the rapper that you like is named jinjin. their earlier title tracks are on the fresher/lighter side but they have been trying out different sounds in the last three years.

If you enjoy his style you can check out his recent sub-unit album that he did with the other rapper, Rocky, called 'Refuge' (try the songs 'Just Breathe' and 'Lazy'). And if I may suggest, most review channels do best if they start with Astro's first mvs, songs, dance practices, and performances first then work their way up to present day. It gives you a better idea of what they have been through and just how much they have grown as artists.
