Why do some Japanese men like to tan their skin? Especially EXILE members. I like HSJ (Hey! Say! JUMP) visual better and they also have fair skin unlike these guys.
Tan skin mean healthy, and cool. Many Japanese girl prefer tan skin guys too (me too 😂) . Maybe this is their concept too. Exile is super group that we know have a manly vibes, Hey Say Jump! more like a pretty boys vibes.
@@annie1515 Not really, they are all Northeast Asians, they are naturally light fair skinned. Because some members in this group are half black Africans and half Filipinos half Southeast Asians, but some also got tanned intentionally because they think it's cool when it's actually ugly. That's why they have dark skin. But most Japanese people (both men and women) are just as light fair skinned as Koreans. And some Koreans are naturally brownish too and they also bleach their skin. There are many Korean skin bleaching products. So I don't know why they created a boy group full of these darker skin tones when there are many better looking light fair skinned Japanese boys. See, now there are even completely false perseption that Japanese are darker than Koreans just because of groups like them. It's their fault that people have false perception. Because they represent Japan, but in a bad way because they have dark skin. Even though, other JPOP groups like HSJ (Hey! Say! JUMP) and the rest of Japanese population have light fair skin.
@@cirnocera7651 Not really, it depends on where in Japan and Korea you're talking about. Hokkaido (Japan) is really cold (colder than Korea), while Jeju (Korea) is hot and humid (hotter than Kyushu, Shikoku, & Honshu in Japan). While Kyushu, Shikoku, & Honshu Island (Japan) isn't that much hotter than Korea. Only a little bit difference which shouldnt have make their skin dark, except if they intentionally tan their skin. Some parts of China (central & southern) are also hotter than Japan.
@@annie1515 There's nothing wrong with yellowish skin. And yes, some EXILE members are actually mixed. Some are half black African, some are half Filipino that's why they have darker skin. And lots of Koreans actually not as light skinned as you thought them to be either. Yes, besides white-washing their photos, some Koreans also used skin-bleaching products. But I can tell you most Japanese people don't have brown skin, most of them have typical Asian yellowish light fair skin. But some Japanese men likes to tan their skin especially on summer cuz they think it's manlier. While for Japanese girls, only Ganguro, Kuro-Gyaru, Yankee (delinquent) girls or Sukeban who tan their skin. Btw have you been to Japan?
