He used to have a soft ballad voice 2 years ago but being a main vocalist of a pop-rock band toughed up his voice a lot and he sounds amazing this way. I can't wait to see what kind of surprises he will show us in the future. He's a gem in this generation of kpop
For me its the opposite.. He has always had a strong ballad voice but his rock voice isnt that loud /strong as compared to hongki or yonghwa for example.. But he improved over time.. I hope he will get invited as one of the regular guest like my other fav Son Seung Yeon

They said he would do well in musical.. They said when this performance is aired he will get many offers to be in musical.. And the guess judge said the performance feel like a musical like Phantom of the Opera and that he is really a vocalist🔥🔥 Im so proud of him.. 😭 EDIT: Saying that he would do well in musical is a really big compliment. Korean musical industry is really cutthroat, idols/singers that cant sing or act will not survive Knetz🤣 this is them saying he is an amazing skilled vocalist + good theatrics skill..

That was just phenomenal. Honestly, if he had been the fifth or last performer, he would’ve gotten the chance to win the trophy with this amazing performance. But nonetheless, he blew everyone away with these power vocals, and am I the only one who thinks that his silhouette at the end looks so beautiful?

I'm glad Hweseung didn't make it into W1.. His voice is too precious to be an idol. He should just singing, be a ballad singer instead of idol. Right now, he did a really good job. I'm crying. He's truly improved a lot. He will be one of the best singer in Korea one day!
but like kim jaehwan who adjusted his voice to fit the idol concept, i'm sure hewseung could do it as well. look at jaehwan who is a soloist now, he adjusted back to himself as a vocalist!

I tried to not be biased but nahh everyone will accept that this performance is legit one of the best tho. When hweseung hits those high notes, they came out really beautifully, yes it is a true talent. Maybe I don't truly understand what message the song delivers but looking at its title, I guess it meant to be quite emotional right? Thank you for such a great performance ❤️❤️
This cover of Chi hyun's more of a ballad song just proves what a talented singer Hweseung is. Like how can one not love him? He made this song into like a musical pop - rock song and it just gives me chills!

Hweseungie ah 😭😭 I feel proud cuz as the main vocalist on N.Flying, he not only have his original talent of ballad singing, but also have the vocal for rock and more intense style. With that, he rocks the song very well, showing the duality of his voice and all his talent
