the lines are rough and like scratches, which is something i really like about this animation! depression is different for everyone, but i think most people with depression can feel like everything around them is a mess. nothing goes right and nothing can comfort you. even if something does, it only does so for a short time, just like how the lines are. i might be reading too much into it, but i like interpreting animations like this so i feel connected to them. another thing i really loved was when the lightbulb went out, and the music stopped and only the ghost's eyes remained in the dark. to me, that scene resembles two things. one is that the powerlessness depression makes you feel when you're alone. your whole body or rather, your whole "spirit" disappears to mask or fight the sadness, so you can only watch or maybe cry as it destroys you. another idea is that depression becomes a part of you in the "dark". depression can take over people, and drastically change them so much that they're like a new person. maybe the darkness represents that, and that's why the ghost's body disappeared, because they've accepted that depression is all that they are. but besides all that, i really love this work. i'll definitely watch more. ❤❤❤
Amazing work on this animation. I think it's a great visual to understand what depression is. May I ask what is the music that you used for this? It's very fitting with the tone.
lol, I wanted to see what kind of person says something stupid like that, and I clicked on your profile and saw that you only uploaded one video called "IM A LOSER" - touché
