BTW, this choreo is originally designed to take place in a pool of water. Me Gustas Tu and Rough are their most famous choreography featuring their signature style of dance but they have matured a lot especially this year, the choreography for their last few comebacks (Crossroads, Apple, Mago) have been nothing but stellar.
The concept of gfriend is power innocence, because, girls prove innocence but the choreographies are very energetic and powerful. Personally, gfriend is the most coordinated girl group in kpop, I love them too much
a lot of people are recommending different songs from gfriend but i suggest just reacting to them all. the main dancer is the girl with loose white shirt and black sneakers. the girl in black is the main vocalist. and ironically, shy is barely in yerin's vocabulary (girl in pigtails) personally, I love their choreographies for their ballad and orchestral pop releases the most (Rough, Summer Rain, TFTMN, Memoria, and Sunrise) as well as their retro-ish concept releases (MAGO, Fingertip, and Navillera) Here are their title tracks in order: Glassbead Me Gustas Tu Rough Fingertip Navillera Love Whisper Summer Rain Time for the Moon Night Sunny Summer Sunrise Fever Crossroads Apple MAGO they also have dance practices for 2 of their Bsides: White (from their first mini album) Labyrinth (released in the album with Crossroads) Although my favorite choreo of all tracks would be Love In The Air and Flower Garden. unfortunately, they're bsides and didn't have proper dance practice videos. I can only watch fancams from their concerts.
5:00 To defend the choreographer a bit, this section of chorus was repeated previously at 2:30 and 3:42. From the music, we get a solo vocal from Yuju, followed by unison voices. The chorus/dancers spin away from the center and freeze, revealing Eunha's spotlight solo -- she's the only one singing and the only one moving. So this is how the dance matches the music without repeating the previous choreography. Perhaps the idea is less (motion) = more (drama)? Eunha once made this more dramatic by waving her hand and falling on her butt, with every eye on her. Didn't miss a note, though. I think the consensus was, if you're gonna fall, at least be cute about it.

Yep GFriend was known for their powerful innocence concept with innocent sounding songs and powerful and intricate choreography! Would recommend watching their dance practices for Rough, Glass Bead and Me Gustas Tu for their earlier stuff :)

Thanks for your reaction :) I get it abt the build-up tho, well cant say anything abt that, lol... bcs its their choreographer choice. Maybe its to ease them off a bit, I guess (bcs the choreo is hard and tiring, and they need to perform it like maybe hundreds times in training, and multiple times a day too in promotion time). To put in context, GFriend is one of the girl groups that step up the quality of k-pop ggroup dance maybe half or one step up, back then in 2015-2016. They're famous with their syncronized dance, but actually I think they have creativity, intricate transitions, and smart movement meanings too, as they plan the movement carefully to match the lyrics, rhytm. emotions, and singing turn. I hope you can back to GFriend at times, I recommend to see Time for the Moon Night, Sunrise, or Rough dance practice.
To be honest the choreography so lit and difficult, but i dont really like the song. Too cute and feminine. You should react for Apple and Crossroads for more mature dance.
