These people who complain about this song being less powerful than other gfriend songs need to stop, Sunny Summer is such a beautiful bright and relaxing summer song, as for me it is still so in gfriend style but maybe just a little bit lighter and softer, I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH!

In my opinion this song Sunny Summer is a failure. It lacks the power, energy and intensity from pasta songs like Rough, Me Gustas Tu, Glassbead, TFTMN and Navillera. The moves focus on being cute instead of powerful, look sloppy and weak. The clothing and MV style look like a failed rip off of Red Velvet songs. Conclusion: Please bring back the powerful GFriend.

Daily reminder not to forget GFRIEND had no choice to renew their contract because it was forcefully terminated by Source Music before it's original expiration date. The contract should've ended in late 2021's and not in May which means the girls would be still active today if it was really their choice to not renew the contract. Don't support the problematic company who claimed to love them as daughters yet kicked them out the second greed hit the CEO's head.

I'm so tired of seeing those hate comments so I want to explain one by one:- 1. "The dance looked like AOA - Bingle Bangle!" My answer :- Yeah one of the dance moves is just like in Bingle Bangle but actually.. Gfriend did that dance first in their B-side song during their first concert in January. Besides, that move is a basic dance. Many people done it before..😑 2. "This MV looks like Red Velvet - Red Flavour" (sorry if I mistake the name of the song because I don't really remember) My answer : No I don't find it the same at all, except for the summer concept. Using red and blue color suits summer concepts. The food on the table? Sitting at the table? Many kpop idols done that before. If they did copy RV, they'll be sued but did you see that happen? Tch. 3. "This comback is the floppest comeback of Gfriend." My answer : The floppest? Good album sales = flop? Getting profit = flop? Fyi, this comeback is a special surprise comeback Gfriend prepared for Buddies as a gift for us. Gfriend did not expect any wins as they mentioned in their interview before the comeback. They just want other people to enjoy the summer with the song. See how short Gfriend promoted this album(2 weeks)? See how easy the dance (for Gfriend)? See how they named the album as Summer Mini Album instead of (insert a number)th Mini Album? 4. "Gfriend is not popular and flopped hard. The MV views is so low" My answer :- Millions views = flop + not popular? Excuse me.. maybe Gfriend is not the most popular gg internationally but they are really popular in SK. And there are even more groups that people didn't even notice. Their MV views didn't even reach a million. But their songs are good and some of them are even better than some popular groups' songs. It's a pity they're underrated and that's why I'm glad that our Gfriend gets noticed. Views are important to increase the score in music shows and to attract new fans but they are not everything. She doesn't always have the most lines, they just use her for the hard vocal parts and then they'll throw her away. And in this song there isn't much hard vocal parts so Yuju has no use to them, and hence stored in a refrigerator.
