I honestly think "boob and booty is hot" wasn't to keep the rhytm going but to specifically call out the two MAIN insecurities of women along w their face. Most women think they are unattractive or not worthy/ deserving of a partner and feel jealous watching other women with bigger cup sizes or butts. Women feel insecure of being "flat" and thus are always comparing sizes to other women. So they emphasized that part saying YOU ARE HAWT OKAY?! Some things I also wanna say (u can read them iff u want they r theories lmao): Yuqi calling out names so casually is the point. Like women are constantly comparing themselves to celebrities beauty standards and referencing them to describe how a person looks. sexy like Kim K. or pretty like ariana. Miyeon sees minnie with her ex and approaches them and minnie looks like "who are you...?" whle the ex is flustered with the sudden confrontation. Miyeon j dismisses the guy and goes on to hug Minnie and when minnie is outnumbered during yuqi and shuhua dance battle w her, she steps up and helps minnie intimidate them too. Basically spreading a msg saying no matter how much of a douchebag the guy maybe for cheating on her w minnie, Minnie didn't knw that so it wasn't her fault technically so hate the guy who cheated, there's no reason for women to compete against themselves for attention from a cheater.

Yes it's true she got the social media validation, but if you notice she doesn't do anything with it, actually she just puts the phone away as if she's saying "i didn't even need it all along"

I love this song so much and of course the last course of them chanting with a message at the end. I noticed they changed the subtitles in one line like they did with Nxde. So excited for the live stages and outfits. This song is going to be so fun to perform live. Another hit for (G)I-DLE 🎉

Sooo A lot of people say the english lyrics are cringe (especially “my boob and booty is hot” and “I’m twerking on the runway”) while I think they are important, empowering and fun at the same time! In the end, it wasn’t the track list at all! It was just how people can feel (blue, lonely,pretty sexy) and the “I feel you” at the end with the black background was very touching for everyone. They know what a lot of people watching this feel, but they don’t say “be yourself”, “it’ll get better”, “it’s a phase”, “I have struggles too” NO. They say I feel you.

G Idle always has a beautiful way of expressing themselves with their individual presence and presentation whenever they lyrics and references

fun fact: "퀸카" (pronounced "kwinka", close to "queencard") is an early 2000s korean slang for "it girl" or "popular girl", so it's in line with both the whole instagram influencer/media personality/it girl thing, and the y2k/early 2000s theme of both allergy and queencard

Honestly, my jaw was dropping throughout so many parts of the music video man. 🫠 The outfits, the lyrics, and everything man...(G)I-DLE came to play. It's never a dull moment watching and listening to them bro ❤

Yup! You got it, and I'm glad you loved it. About the ending though, she DID go to a party the night before. She went in for the surgery, dreamed about what it'd be like to be a Queencard, realized in her dream that your confidence is what makes you beautiful, and she woke up and opted out. She was happy/content. She got the texts/DM's to reveal to the audience that she did go to a party and was loved already. She didn't need the validation though--if anything, she was confused by it. She closed her phone, felt a sigh of relief to unplug, and then walked off happy. The ending captions imply that it's okay to feel all the different emotions we feel, and then had a very empathic message: "I feel you."

The social media validation came at the end but she didn't care about all that. Just stuck her phone in her pocket and walked on. Also, that ending was the "it was all a dream" trope, then when the photo from the party showed up on her phone it's the common trope from that era of shows and movies of "it was all a dream - or was it?". Very cool.

She actually ignored the notifications at the end 😊

I have interpreted the ending a bit different the part when she received social media notifications. Interpreted that she brushed the whole social media things aside, like she doesn't care about it much, because She's feeling herself.

Watch the recording of Queencard behind the scene. It's a must watch. She didnt need the validation actually thats why she walked away towards the end. She didnt reply to the messages.

Regarding the ending, actually, Soyeon closed her phone and ignored the social media, and strutted off to be herself. So I interpret that as her turning away from the poisonous social media that fueled her original insecurity.
