Soyeon has always tackled real issues and also had some fun with her songwriting talent. The fact that other songs are more poetic and metaphoric doesn't take away the seriousness of the topics she wants to bring forth to the listeners. She's only being less metaphoric, and more explicit with her music. (apparently that's the only way for some people to understand what her songs are about)
