Every album soyeon produced from day one was rejected by cube and every album and singe that company rejected broke their records and add wins and achievements! If they used the budget the girl afford from sales etc they could be as unbeatable they are now! The think that makes soyeon and idle stand out more that any other self-produced group is that she has an imagination and artistry. Lion was cheap but they made it look the most expensive mv in kpop! Soyeon knows what fits the girls and the fact she gives attention more to the lyrics rather than the melody because she leaves space for their voices to Ccarry the whole song! Listening to idle you get the idle sound songs and melodies that only them can produce and sing... unique af they are the leaders of their generation not one of THEY ARE THE ONES!

yeah, i only watched queendom for mamamoo and ofc rooted for them to win but i can honestly say when i watch them perform Lion (knowing nothing abt this group before the show), i thought "okay these girls can win instead of mamamoo and I'd be totally okay with it" cause it was so damn good 😂 and now, (G)I-DLE is another one of my ult groups along with Dreamcatcher.

Yeah, as much as I love Lion and think the Queendom Lion performance is one of the best live kpop performances I've ever seen, there's no shame in losing to Mamamoo. Mamamoo's live performances are always going to be tough competition no matter who you are.

The final score for Queendom was not based on the final performance alone. Who won was based on the scores throughout the entire series. Mamamoo won because a) they're Mamamoo and b) they consistently stayed in the top 2 slots throughout the entire series of shows. In comparison, IDLE bounced up and down the rankings throughout the series. They couldn't even appear in the first episode because of a scheduling conflict. Considering how the series played out, IDLE winning second place was really quite a feat.

Is there gonna be 2nd season of queendom tho? I feel like the producer prefer kingdom than queendom. Kingdom give out good performance too but queendom hit diffrent. Also i want dc to enter queendom, lot of people gonna be awake once dc enter queendom
