Retired UG fitter....excellent work gentlemen......nice and dry....lol...I had to work in muddy and frozen condition but still enjoyed underground work...

would never ever be as good as these gtuys in the UK. Heck the mess our blokes make. That job looked like 2-4 days, England would of taken 6 MONTHS and only half days and shutting down a whole town to do it. And english workers say im wrong then you are liars. What are the pipes for though!? It's also nice that they lay out the ribbons in the soil so that future excavators know what lies underneath.

4:30 The big pipes: Transfer of heat from the Electricity/Heat Powerplant: Each Electricity-Powerplant also produces heat. We in Berlin transfer that to houses They also have chemical storage for heat sometimes.

Nice Video is very entertaining but I have a question about the filling with so much sand. With us in Germany, only the pipes have to be covered with sand, after which a mineral mixture then splits für sidewalk ore asphalt for road. my question is why you use so much sand.

@@heroexcavator ah thanks its a Good idea only Excavator without a Vibrating Roller And then scraping to 20cm is already a relief I haven't seen it like that before, but it's a very good solution well done.
