I wish they had English sub to get the full experience of this fantastic show! I'm not sure why the USSF didn't compete in the obstacle course but my guess is, they didn't qualify/advance because none of the members won the water pit competition.
Can’t wait to watch more! So proud of my fellow Americans for being there (although a little humility could go a long way with one of them, you don’t get very far by wholesale demeaning your own allied protégés), and of course I’m also so proud our incredible allies from my parents’ motherland! Win or lose, everyone is amazing and basically superhuman, and I’m relieved to know that they are all on our side. You guys rock! 😎
I think they were probably given some direction by the show to be more intimidating/confident-sounding for the interviews, because they're supposed to be the unpredictable dark horses of the show (not necessarily the bad guys).
With all the respect to the US armed forces, I have no doubt that USSF is the best best in the world. Hoping that there is more tactic competition which they'll do way much better. But with that being said, still, I kinda wonder if the USSF is suited for this type of show because they are the absolute expert in real combat minimizing the casualties and handling situations rationally.
none of these are realistic. However, these are critical components of what they should be made of as an individual in order to execute their skills in real combat situations as a team. these activities test your strength, endurance, and mental game and they have failed miserably so far except their mouth. this is quiet embarrassing frankly speaking. they should not be in this show representing the US navy seal and looking like clowns or send the real ones, not these old farts retirees. if they are still serving.. damn man, I am speechless.
thing is they're a lot older (2 of them are over 45 and have been out of the military for 50+ years if not more) and these games are more suited to college age men XD. still was good to see the SEAL eat a bit of humble pie
As a korean, in a warfighting scenario. none of these groups would be able to match the US participants. They have no operational experience in special operations... except maybe 707 and cross border recon.
Think the show is less about who has the best warfare tactical skills and more about demonstrating physical & mental strength along with the ability to work together as a team or in combined units. For this reason, I find the show much more appealing than if it were war games. An escape from actual warfare that is currently going out in the real world.
yeah i mean shows like this were created to be propaganda for korean military, right? seeing as the public perception for it wasn't so good in recent years. they're inviting ppl on to make the korean military look good and impressive. some of this, and shows like The Soldiers (which even had some of the same cast as this one) seem quite scripted lol. There's no way ppl with 0 deployments overseas can compete with those who have been in spec ops in Afghanistan for over a decade.
Maybe for the next season, the iron squad could invite special forces from Asian countries. It would definitely be nice to see Indonesian special forces able to fight Korean special forces here
Bro why are the seals that we sent in old asf? I mean granted i feel like they still shouldve put up a better fight. We shouldve had younger guys out there. We looked real bad we got handled.
