향긋하고 폭신한 오렌지 스펀지 케이크를 만들었어요~
그냥 먹어도 오렌지 향이 나서 정말 맛있고 생크림과 함께 먹어도 좋고 케이크 시트로 사용해도 좋을 것 같아요~
굽는 중간에 케이크를 잠깐 꺼내 슬라이스한 오렌지를 한조각 올려 주니 더 예쁘더라구요~
이 과정은 생략하시고 한번에 쭉 구우셔도 된답니다~
머랭을 부드럽고 단단하게 휘핑해야 반죽이 매끄럽게 잘 되어 높이감 있는 케이크가 나오는 것 같아요~
구울 때 부터 먹을 때까지 집안에 오렌지 향이 가득해서 기분 좋게 만들었답니다~

▶틀 사이즈 Mold size : 15cm x 7cm
▶재료
오렌지 제스트
오렌지 즙 35g
식물성 오일 30g
소금 1g
바닐라익스트랙 3g
달걀흰자 3개
설탕 75g
달걀노른자 3개
박력분 80g
▶레시피
1. 오렌지 제스트에 오렌지 즙과 식물성 오일을 넣고 섞은 뒤 소금, 바닐라익스트랙을 넣고 섞는다.
2. 달걀흰자를 휘핑하다가 큰 거품이 올라오면 설탕을 3번에 나눠 넣고 휘핑해 부드럽게 뿔이 서는 머랭을 만들고 달걀 노른자를 나눠 넣고 휘핑한다.
3. 박력분을 체 쳐 넣고 섞은 뒤 오렌지 즙 혼합물에 반죽을 조금 덜어 넣고 섞고 본반죽에 부어 섞는다.
4. 테프론 시트를 두른 틀에 붓고 기포정리를 한 뒤 170도 예열한 오븐에서 18~20분 정도 굽다가 오븐에서 꺼내 위에 슬라이스한 오렌지를 올리고 15~17분 정도 더 굽고 식힌다.

30g Vegetable oil
1g Salt
3g Vanilla extract
3 Egg whites
75g Sugar
3 Egg yolks
80g Cake flour

PASTEL ESPONJOSO DE NARANJA 00:10 ▶ Ingredientes Ralladura de naranja 35g de jugo de naranja 30g de aceite vegetal 1g de sal 3g de extracto de vainilla 3 claras de huevo 75g de azúcar 3 yemas de huevo 80g de harina de repostería Receta 1. Agregue el jugo de naranja y el aceite vegetal a la ralladura de naranja, luego agregue sal y el extracto de vainilla. 2. Mientras tanto, bata la clara de huevo, cuando aparezcan burbujas, añadir el azúcar dividido en 3 partes y batir hasta formar un merengue con picos rígidos. Agregar la yema de huevo y batir. 3. Tamizar la harina y mezclar. Agregue un poco de masa a la mezcla de jugo de naranja y mezcle. 4. Vierta la masa con la hoja de teflón puesta dentro del molde de 15cm, saque las burbujas de aire y hornee en un horno precalentado a 170ºC durante 18 a 20 minutos, luego sáquelo del horno, coloque la rodaja de naranja encima y hornee por otros 15 a 17 minutos y enfriar.

omg...this takes me back. orange sponge cake was the first cake i ever made from scratch. i made one by myself in the 3rd grade for a cake walk at the school fair

5:40 we can mix marmalade in whipped cream and spread in between these. So this cake will no more be just dry cake. There will be cream😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

Thank you for this recipe. It is an easy one, the cake came out beautiful, not shrink back or collapse. And a touch of an orange slice makes it cute too 😉😉😉 It tasted good as well, not as light as chiffon (obviously) but still fluffy and soft

I tried to do it, but it came out as flat, like, flat as ever, but I followed the instructions :( I don't know what I did wrong. Thought, it was SO SO GOOD and so simple to do ! (hence why I made it quickly after the video was released).

So it might be the folding part where you didn't fold it properly and there might be parts of the meringue or the juice not incorporated properly. Another could be the meringue itself. If you overbeat it, it can become clump and while baking it may lose it's shape. Or it may be the parchment paper. When I tried using parchment for a similar cake recipe, it didn't rise and stayed the same height as it was before baking. You need the cake to stick to the sides so that when you take it out, it doesn't "deflate" and shrink in size. So try without parchment paper if it'll help and after cooling, use a knife to detach the cake from the sides. Also one important step is that you don't disturb the cake while it's in the oven. As tempting as it is, don't open the oven door in the beginning of its cook cause that's when it rising. If you open, there's a change in temperature and it won't rise at all later. If neither work then maybe try incorporating a bit of baking powder about 2g is my estimate (I'm basing this amount from another sponge cake video) Hopefully this helps! (These are tips i found for troubleshooting)

Because I really don't think I did beat it too much, and I incorporated the juice with a little paste before adding it entirely, so maybe the folding or maybe I didn't beat the eggs enough ? And yes I'll try to make it stick to the pan, I don't use parchment but butter since it adds a taste to the side that is really nice.

@@marsghestin3136 just like in the video, you want to beat the eggs so that when you lift the whisk, there's a firm peak and the tip bends over. Some sources say it's okay to underbeat but I haven't tried it myself to know what the actual issue is. Also generally for sponge or chiffon cakes, I see people don't add butter cause they want the cake to stick. Sometimes for normal cakes, I use butter and it still sticks so try experimenting with that. Baking is a science and I myself am a beginner so I'm giving tips based on the tons of videos I see and all troubleshooting tips :)

No worries! You can make it yourself if you have ap flour and corn starch. Measure 1 cup of ap flour, take out 2 tbsp of the ap flour and replace with 2 tbsp of corn starch. Mix them and sift 3 to 4 times to make sure they combine well. And there you have it, your own made cake flour. You can make them as much as you need to.

Yes you can 😊 try this 👇🏼 How to Make a Homemade Cake Flour Substitute Step 1: Measure 1 cup all-purpose flour. Remove 2 Tablespoons. Step 2: Measure 2 Tablespoons cornstarch. Add to the flour. Cornstarch contains less gluten than flour, so it’s a wonderful tenderizing ingredient to help make cake flour. Step 3: Sift together TWICE. Basically, sift into a mixing bowl once. Then run it through the sifter one more time. Sifting not only mixes the two ingredients together appropriately, it aerates the mixture so the consistency is similar to real cake flour. Step 4: Measure 1 cup from this mixture. You’ll have about 1 cup anyway, but sometimes sifting can produce more volume since it’s adding air.
