This is an abridged version of the live stream from 5-9-2021 about the grammar particle (으)로, which can be used to mean "Toward" and "Using." This lesson focused on how it's used to mean "Using," which is to show the tool, method, means, material, machine, or channel by which something happens.

Going too far north... you end up in (1) the wrong Korea, (2) another Dakota you've likely never been to and (3) an old bearded man with a bunch of pointy eared slaves making toys. Billy didn't mention the last 2 but I felt they were worth mentioning

Hello Billy, So when someone is going somewhere i can use all the time 으로 and i will sound naturally?
@MJ-mh4uf
@MJ-mh4uf 3 года назад
Instead of 걸어서 갔어요 and 운전해서 갔어요. If you say just 걸어갔어요 and 운전했어요. Does it sound weird/unnatural?
@GoBillyKorean
@GoBillyKorean 3 года назад
Those just mean "I walked" and "I drove," not describing that you went anywhere specific "by walking" or "by driving."
