you are making them look bad, do you even know what disgust mean? And why making it as if Soyeon is the only one who want to be challenged? also what is challenging about dancing slowly? Your comment is just confusing.
Guys, I'm pretty sure op just means that Soyeon looks oddly happy about the music being played wrong. And I'm pretty sure "disgusted" was hyperbole for humor's sake. Obviously all of them handled this really well, no one is questioning that.
0:32 Soyeon talking to the sound operator 0:47 Yuqi scoulding the operator 3:11 Yuqi, Minnie and Myeon looking at the operator like "bruh???" 3:48 And as soon as they are done performing, Yuqi and Shuhua turns back to the sound operator and goes like "WTF was that??"
@ellieonce this comment needs to be pinned!!! it's no one's fault :( and no harm bodily was committed so I feel like it was just an inconvenience issue, not something that should be a huge deal :(
@ellieonce maybe this is indication for companies to pay their staff more and or get better equipment/maintenance. I think the annoyance is justified considering that the performers have practiced at a certain tempo, not calling for firing anyone but this is sucks for everyone type of situation.
Broooo yuqi and minnie in the group is one of the brightest ive never seen them like this i tought they r the one who will vibe with it but i was wronggg hsjshanx
Minnie and yuqi real mad. Seeing minnie being serious is scary as hell. While miyeon, shuhua and soojin being professional keep dancin without distracted. Soyeon tried to calm her teammates down by keep smiling. Good job idle👌🏻
ok so let me summarise that the speed of song was became slow than the usual but idle professionalism showed as they did not panicked and stopped performing instead they adjusted there singing and dancing according to the speed of the song !!!! wow I'm so proud of how they handle the situation !!! Great job girls ... :)
@@shawnclifford Alright let's not make assumptions. I'm pretty sure if another group specifically kpop groups bcz I've never ever seen that a group would stop performing just bcz they are surprised by the sound operator messing up, then they would handle it professionaly too. U really shouldn't bring down others to praise your faves.
@@jeonskookiee8366 I think there is not lot of idol like Idle. Because if they had a problem they want handle it like they did here. Maybe they'll be like "Ohh.." or stop dancing a little bit to see each other in the eyes. What idle did in this video was professionnel, even if Yuqi and Minnie were looking like they are going to kill the sound operator.
The song ends. Soyeon, Miyeon and Soojin: haha that was weird Minnie: F this Shuhua (to sound people): what did you do? Yuqi (to sound people): YOU'RE DEAD!
soyeon is truly a great leader for keeping it professional and still putting up such a great performance with a bright smile. i like how transparent yuqi and minnie are with their displeasure with the issue 😅 they really mean it when they sang “don’t mess with me!”
Soyeon : okay, other challenge Also Soyeon : always take a glance to the operator Shuhua & Soojin : Just fine Miyeon, Yuqi, Minnie : let's kill him after this shit Lmao
2:55 Yuqi's kick make me scared.... Minnie and Yuqi look really pissed...Look at Soyeon at the beginning, she look confused when the song is slow than the original so she look at Soojin and talk something....LMAO Minnie and Yuqi is look scary when they're mad....
Minnie: Murder Eyes Yuqi: Imma punch this mofo to the moon Soojin: Roll her eyes and sigh Miyeon: Smile and Dance Soyeon: Laughing her ass off inside Shuhua: WUUUUEEEEE?
Even though Idle was super annoyed and confused during performing they handled it like professionals and also handled it like the queens they r meant to be!!
I can see that Yuqi and Minnie looked soo mad with the music mistake. I've never seen them like that before... They look really upset for the whole concert.. At the end of the concert, when Yuqi turned around looking frustrated and angry, I was like sh-
@@melissamartinez599 its mostly backtrack and not lipsync, they sang live but the backtrack is just loud, and because they are singing lower their voices are going to be less powerfull too so its a mix of stuff
Kind of late but let's talk about why they're clearly upset even though they're managing the situation: *1.It's mentally AND physically taxing to perform like this.* They have to precisely measure (in real-time) the timing while dancing AND singing to keep up with the backing track, plus fixing it midway while they're performing would only make it harder for them so this 4 minute song might feel longer to them. These women already have an exhausting schedule everyday, imagine having to arrive in your event to deal with this. *2.It's a bit insulting to them. (Especially to Soyeon honestly who researched a lot to write and arrange the song)* It's like you're saying they're not important enough to do your job correctly/ double check everything before the performance. *3. Sudden pitch adjustment* They composed the song with every member's capabilities and limitations in mind so that includes the notes they can and can't hit. Luckily, they all have good ranges, but still, it's not easy suddenly singing lower than your assigned pitch. Singing good doesn't always mean singing high notes, you have to reach the low notes, too.
Well, did It, It was a really good perf in vocals terms, only they dancing was weird, not good at all But i really liked it, this slowed version was fire 👁️👄👁️❤️
Bro it's not that complicated. People do slow version of choreography for FUN. Because it isn't hard. Adjusting your singing to lower pitch songs isn't hard at all especially if the song was already high to begin with. You make it sound like they were actively using 100% of their brain power.
@@roverclover3178 woah, chill. I agree with stuff you said but again, this happened so suddenly for them. It's not what they prepared, dude. Im not saying it's 100% stressful, i'm saying it's frustrating for them to arrive at an event and then suddenly perform like this.
@@roverclover3178 Imagine singing and dancing to a specific song 24-7 and suddenly the pitch and the tempo changed. At this point, they are so used to the normal version that they have to stop themselves from falling into the pattern of the normal dance and song. I think the way that they practiced this song so much will make it so much harder to change it for them, especially when they were not even told in advance.
@@roverclover3178 people can do bunch of things for fun and it still be a complicated thing, plus many people would rather something complicated for fun than professionally. And it's absolutely false to say lowering pitch isn't hard. First of all, people have different singing ranges and that includes not being used to sing low often. It's not like everyone can do that and it's also even more difficult to do so without changing a bit of your voice and risking it sound different than what people recognize your voice for. And second, lowering pitch isn't simply lowering, it's also matching the pitch change. You can't just randomly lower it. That's also why sometimes Soyeon prefers to keep a higher pitch on more flowy parts.
For those who are wondering why it is slowed, it's because they really performed it that slow. the event has a technical problem and it caused for the audio to slow down, idle had to adjust their voice and movements to match it with the song. that's why some members looked angry and kept looking to their left when they started to dance. props to idle for being professional and continuing the performance.
Soyeon : this is fun---oh maybe not Miyeon : confuse but nevermind Soojin : whatever Shuhua : keep dancing because the others didn't stop Minnie : slightly smile while glancing intensely at the sound operator whenever she got the chance Yuqi : about to throw punches
those people who are like "there's nothing difficult about a slowed version" obviously know nothing about performing lmao. not only do your dance moves have to match up with the slower tempo, they are also singing at a lower key which may be difficult if it doesn't match their ranges well. not to mention soyeon's rap where speed and flow are crucial. a slowed version can throw performers off as much as faster versions do. they have every right to be annoyed. anyway props to them for adjusting so well
