This is a nice rearrangement but it saddens me to see how few people truly understand the electronic music genre. I don't expect people that have been listening to music with lyrics or more specifically kpop most of their life to find the same level of enjoyment in instrumentals as me (some one who has listened to electronic/instrumental music for most of his life) but I think everyone should try to "feel" the music more. Don't stop at "oh the chorus sounds pretty good" but also try to find the story it tells. Butterfly is already one of my all time favorite kpop songs mainly because it emphasizes and respects the instrumental so much. To me the instrumental for Butterfly is as powerful as the lyrics, if not more. It conveys so much emotion and the extra long chorus in the original really lets you get immersed and almost lost in the music. I listen to a LOT of electronic genres like trance, edm, dubstep, synthwave, etc, and Butterfly has aspects from all those and more. Many props to the music producer, he/she really created a work of art with this one.

I was kinda disappointed that they didn't include the teaser audio because it was my favorite, but you did! It's so immersive and engaging.

A bit disappointed about how people in the comment acts like the original is not that good. Like, BBC worked and put effort into making this comeback in months. Mmm well I can't change your opinion. Good rearrangement btw but still living for the original one.

This is godly uwu, I definitely think the (first) drop in the original is too long and the last drop just literally sounds like the first two and a bit underwhelming. This really created the tension for the last drop. Thanks this is so much better

I really like the dreamy vibe in the original. This one sounds a bit 'too loud' or crowded in several places (because of the additional beats & instruments from the teaser) But I understand what you're trying to do and I wish BBC incorporate the several sounds from the teaser too :" P.S. The break from the teaser is AMAZING 👌👌

I believe that the original ver. is made like that is because BBC wants to fit the 3 minutes ++ duration (not more than 4 minutes) so LOONA won't get exhausted performing Butterfly on stage, same like the other groups.

Omg this is so much better, the break is really needed for the buildup and impact for the rest of the song,whereas the official version is overkill

It's sounds so good but at the same time it sounds very forced, mostly the part of the bridge with the XIX audio, I'm sure you can do a better work and make it sound very very good, because this sounds amazing as itself. ❤

i love how you cut out the second part of the first chorus it makes the second one more impactful and i love the tingly, sounds in the prechorus ✨

I liked the idea of cutting the first drop in half (it IS a little bit too long, to be honest), but the whole section at the end makes the song loses all the momentum it built, and it feels like it goes on fooooorever. And then I have to sit through the actual last chorus, unedited. Also, did you beefed up the snares? It sounds a little less dreamy. Great efforts, though. I'm curious about the rest of the XX tracks! :)

When i first heard xix it gave me chills until now. I expected both xix and xiix teaser to be part of the song. Kinda disappointed about that still it's a great song. And great job on your rearranged version of butterfly i really loved it esp at the bridge section 👏

Holy crap that X1X break was AMAZINGGG! This should've been the official version, it makes all the teasers relevant. I wish BBC could hear this, they would he proud and maybe even take inspiration from this, they have to incorporate everything like this to create something more cohesive with the teasers. This was perfect, start to finish.

I definitely like this version more. Not that the original is bad but the chorus felt way too long to me. Adding in the break during the bridge was nice. It made the last chorus feel more impactful.

When I first heard Butterfly, I was disappointed the impactful droning bass in the teaser wasn't in the actual song. This version is what I actually expected. Good job.

Sure thing Original Butterfly is indeed unique but it took me way longer to find the same chill it had back in + +. I watched this a little over a year ago right when it came out, and I decided to listen to it again and I'm just still blown away at how well this track sounds. I wish BBC would include the teaser sounds in the actual track. The only thing I don't particularly like about this version is the intro with the chimes in the beginning, i LOVE the original intro. But the way you incorporated the teasers is just [chefs kiss]!! Magnificent!!!!

I'm going to have to say I prefer the original. The things I don't really like that much is the beginning since to me the original beginning is kind of like when the butterfly is about to take off and few beats before Yves's first line is the first beat of its wings, and then the post bridge part sounds more like a remix dance break (but that part I like, just not for the official song), and the ending kind of sounds like the transition to another song (I get no satisfaction from the extra stuff at the end, cause I expect the song to end before they start)

I really like the sound effect at the break 2:30, its like you're unwrapping something covered in silk (a coccoon perhaps?) :o

I totally agree with this arranged version. In the original ver., the first chorus is supposed to be only 2 lines, and also after the bridge, it is supposed to have a little drop before the last chorus, just like your arrangement. First listen to the original song, it was kinda weird. But after listening to your version, I am very satisfied. Perfect
