I struggle with this drama, to be honest, because, while I know they are immature in general, both of them, I just can't get over how imbalanced the relationship is and how emotionally unavailable Seung Jo is SO MUCH OF THE TIME. I'm glad to see him becoming tender towards her, but this whole relationship dynamic is really pretty unhealthy. I wish that at some point in the first season, Ha Ni had developed more of her own life and pursuits outside of Seung Jo and/or any other man. She does grow, and so does he, but I feel like it's not enough, and I cringed all the way through the honeymoon scenes. And yet I keep watching. It's like a train wreck you can't keep your eyes off. LOL.

O Hani isn't an object either, but he mistreats her as if she were an object many times. He has that invasive girl flirting with him, and what does he do? He simply let the girl flirt with him and he scolds his wife. He is disrespecting his wife and in addition to that, he let the other girl denigrate his wife and he doesn't defend her at all. Disgusting behaviour, I Hani should leave him, he must learn to respect her

If you watch this drama knowing it's just fiction, enjoying the actors, the chemistry, and having clear he is a red flag and she needs profesional help to learn to respect herself, that's fine. Only problem is with girls who think this is cute and romantic and valid relationship. Watching it knowing it's toxic but just fiction, is fine

Others may say Seung Joo's character is very dense to not know the girl has intensions. But they way he reacts it seems like he knows it already. But out of respect as a guest he shook it off and take it for granted. He knows this might affect her. Since he's well aware how insecurities ate her. He actually leave a hint for her not to get jealous when they were talking in their room. He said " hey don't you dare feel like she is your rival or anything . It's better that way ". He did not said it because she wanted her to be jealous even more. But it's an indirect way of saying " don't you ever get jealous on a old friend , she can't do anything anyways. I so agree every time I watch him now after the hundred time I seen the series I get upset every time because I realize if you watch through the whole thing he never says anything good to her in front of other people when she's being bullied when she's being targeted when girls are pushing up on him he never puts any of those girls in their place in front of her he pulls her aside or waits for her to run away and be like oh well you know.
