Fahad in the ship was doing the "naham" part , when sailors in Qatar used to go pearl hunting, it was a harsh long trip where they were they get lonely without their families so there a person called "naham" that sing for then to relief their loneliness. And the "hala ho la dan" part is inspired by that chanting and songs of the "Naham"

This is such a catchy song, and JK and Fahad did such a beautiful job. I really need to look into more of Fahad's music - he has a gorgeous voice, and apparently he's also a human rights activist, which is terrific. JK looks and sounds amazing, as always. The marine animal is actually a shark whale and it's one of the most special marine species in qatar and it's considered a symbol here. And if you notice, the kid was holding a “big sized pearl” before he let go of it in the sea and it went on the shark whale's skin. The chants in the beginning of the song that say (ala ho la dan) are melodies that Qatari sailors back in the day used to sing when leaving their homes to look for pearls in the sea. The word (dan) coming from the arabic word (dana) which means a “big pearl”. that's why you can see scenes of sailors and fishermen in traditional Qatari clothings dancing on the ship with the chants! Like if u learned something new!❤️

The boy put a Pearl into the sea🌊. Gulf pearls are fully known and high valued for centuries all around the world✨. Our ancestors used to dive looking for them so this signifies our culture***. 6 boats equals the 6 GCC countries. Each year there are hundreds of whale sharks that congregate and dive in the water of the north east coast of Qatar🇶🇦 in the months from April to September(6 months). These are the reasons of the whales and the number 6. Also the falcon is the main symbol for the Arabic Gulf man/woman. ***the pearl actually was the only source of income for old Qatari people before they discover the oil, and they used to go on boats for long months away from their families and beloved ones just to catch some and sell them, that is why pearl is so significant to Qatar 🇶🇦.
