How many times have I said "He's too pretty to be real" because Jimin's beauty is out of this world lol I do like the vibe of the song but wow the actual live performance was amazing. Also, I do appreciate your honest comments because you're genuine but you're not mean and that is refreshing. 😊

I believe Jimin said this song was about his thoughts during the pandemic - like the “lost in the lights” and don’t wake me from this dream type lyrics is him just remembering concert atmosphere/performing for ARMY and missing it. So the melancholy feeling you got fits. I definitely would recommend On The Street by J-hope ft. JCole and RM‘s Indigo album whenever you’re up to it! Great to see again 💜

I'm glad you reacted to this. Its okay that you want to know if the song is a hit or miss. I tend to do the same. So you don't have to say you like all of the songs, its your opinion that should be respected, just like its your channel and any changes should be respected. Everybody is different for a reason lol. Anyway, I agree it's got the nightclub/night drive vibes. This song in particular has the kind of synthwave, retrowave type of sound that I tend to absolutely love in EDM, but my favorite song on the album is *Alone*

im actually planning on checking out alone and one other song i cant remember the name of as i type this. but the whole synth retro kind of vibe is really a hit or mis with me. sometimes i can be okay with it and other times i just wont love it as much. i think i have to explain myself so much because people are so used to creators loving every song they react to that when a reactor says he doesnt love their song they like, sometimes they dont know how to respond. i sometimes get comments of people asking me why i bothered to post a video of a song i didnt like lol.

I think the genre you were looking for was "synth pop" 😅 personally I'm a sucker for synth pop so I've had this song on repeat for daysss Your take on the vibe of the song as "partying in a dreamland sort of state" is spot-on. There's definitely a bittersweet and dreamy element to this song and the EP as a whole. Jimin described this EP as exploring his feelings during the pandemic, and that sort of melancholy and longing finds its way into each song, in one way or another. You might enjoy Set Me Free pt 2 more, as it's got more of a pumped-up and energetic feel. Thank you for sharing your reaction to this song! I appreciate that you are always honest, and you do a good job of explaining which parts of the music you vibe to and which parts you don't. I love that we all have our own tastes in music and can bring different perspectives to the same song. It's part of what makes music so special, and imo it's what makes reactions engaging to watch. (Like, if I want to hear my own opinion, all I have to do is think it, haha.) i was trying to figure out what the word was and thats what it is. synth i couldnt put my finger on it but im glad people knew what i meant. i definitely feel like he did a good job of expressing his feelings in this song. but thats hilarious because its exactly right people should want to always hear the same opinion on songs and i hadnt even thought about that. sometimes people really dont respond well when you dont like a song they do and its always tough getting criticism for giving your honest opinion when i couldve just lied and said i loved it and avoid the headache. im glad that i have the audience i do that appreciates my effort to bring them genuine content and not youtube standard clickbait content. thank you for your essay of a comment lol stream will be this friday after the stray kids video goes up!

I've missed you and the BTS reactions. If Pop isn't your thing, that's ok! But there are some new songs that you might really love! J-Hope: "Hope on the Street" and RM "Smoke Sprite". They are both very different and wonderful pieces of music/art. "Smoke Sprite" in particular wrecked me🤤 I listen to it multiple times a day!!!

i wont say pop isnt my thing completely because i really do love many pop songs its just a certain kind of pop that i dont like just like theres a certain style of rap i dont like. like you will never see me react to trap music because i dont enjoy it. im definitely keeping my eye out on clips of songs i might want to react to.

I would have an awkward time doing reactions, because I usually need to hear songs a few times before I have a clear feeling about them. This song grew on me HARD over time, lol. I've woke up with it playing in my head a number of mornings already :)

some songs really do have that effect of growing on me but i do have a tendency to know if im going to like a song after the first listen. sometimes all i need to hear are the first few notes and i can tell im going to like it.

@@geezdayday2901 That decisiveness probably lends itself to a more satisfying reaction for the viewer (at least the ones who agree with you :) Any songs in particular that stand out for you as ones that you changed your mind about, post reaction? That might make a good video...I've noticed some music critics going back later on to review their initial ratings of projects, whether that is to genuinely re-evaluate their feelings about them or just to cover their butts for sneering at a more generally acknowledged masterpiece, lol.
