He's in his solo era now so now he's no longer restricted and able to show a more raw and explicit side to himself that he's never been able to show.

The writing on Jimin's chest is a German poem “I live my life in ever-widening circles that stretch themselves out over all the things. I won’t, perhaps, complete the last one, but I intend on trying. I circle around God, around the ancient tower, and I circle for thousands of years; and I don’t know, yet: am I a falcon, a storm, or a mighty song.” I think the song is about Jimin setting himself free from other's opinions and expectations of him. I don't think this is necessarily a new Jimin just another side of him we don't really see that often. I can't wait for his album and the new music video for Like Crazy.

Jimin said this song came from a time when he was lost and depressed. He discovered that he was the only one that could set himself free. I think he is talking to his haters who constantly attack him and anyone who wants to stop him. But also he is getting out of his own way as well. On March 22, reports revealed KBS released their music review results and determined Jimin's tracks "Face-off", "Like Crazy", and "Alone" are unfit for broadcast. "Face-off", which was composed by BTS member RM, was judged as unfit due to the lyrics, which include curses, slang, and indecent expressions. "Like Crazy" is also the title song of Jimin's new album 'FACE' dropping on March 24 KST.
