You can't compare BTS to other K-Pop groups or soloists. They are in a category of their own. No one does it like them, and there is a reason that they are so successful. BTS has three rappers (amazing MC's) and 4 vocalists (all amazing and unique). Spotify top 50, this song is number 1 on the Global Top 50, and number 3 on the USA Top 50. So pretty good I'd say. His numbers on Billboard are pretty good too.
The amazing thing is Jimin is currently serving his country in the military and will only be back next year june 2025. He is one of the 7-member super group BTS, and all members are currently on hiatus and in the military now. Jimin rolled out his new album despite not being able to promote in-person, he has so much faith in his art and listeners to tune in for sincere works. All the music, reels, shorts, MV are pre-corded before his enlistment. Jimin is very talented: he sings beautifully, dances a lot, as well as composing, etc. He is part of BTS, a South Korean group with 7 equally talented members (3 of which are excellent rappers). Jimin is one of the 4 vocalists of BTS, the other 3 are rappers (J-Hope, one of the rappers also sings in some songs) Jimin is known for his unique tone of voice and for being a dancer beyond what can be called wonderful (he has a degree in contemporary dance), I saw that your channel is new and that you are more of a rap fan, you will definitely love RM, SuGa and J-Hope, the most incredible rappers... but, if you are going to enter the universe BTS, you certainly won't regret it, if there was a time when you had some prejudice against k-pop (although I don't even classify BTS as k-pop but rather as BTS and that's it, something beyond any genre and with all of them too) this prejudice will end, as it did with me... the BTS universe is something that, if you enter, you never leave... besides Jimin, RM, Suga and J-Hope, there are also Jungkook, Jin and V, all with their solo careers and their different styles...all exceptional, but together, they form BTS, which debuted in 2013 and is now one of the most famous groups in the world, whether in the world of k-pop or not... try reacting to the mvs of them, from the beginning (School was), going through the live ones, solo careers and everything else.... besides changing your perspective on life, your channel will grow a lot, because the Armys are everywhere (Army It's BTS fandon 😉) good luck on your channel....
the fact that if any amarican singer would have song this song it would have been nr 1 on billboard it´s only because PEOPLE tend to put BTS and their members into the kpop genre just because they are korean. when in fact it´s a eng mainstream song. id think you would not have known it was kpop if you listened to it without knowing before hand right? BTS is mainstream. but they also have kpop sounding songs but not as loud as some of the others witch i really like.

If you like rap,BTS,where Jimin is from( theyre all in the military, except one that got out in June) But there are 3 rappers in BTS...RM,Suga and JHope...they write and produce most songs/raps for the group.[ throught their albums,the rapline has 4 Cyphers as well]. The other four are the vocal lines,but all have given a go at rap,ever so lightly(?) They have all made solo albums before entering the service. RM and Jimin have released 2 each. RMs last one is called "Right Place,Wrong Person", I think you might like it. This song,"Who" is from "Muse". You'd also like "DDay"album from Suga,and "Jack in the Box" from JHope...then theres Vs "Layover" album that is for the jazz r&b crowd and JKs "Golden" which is all pop(?) and all english). Jin only had time to release one song. He did a collab with Coldplay," Astronaut," but he's working on an album now that he's out. Good luck should you choose to look further into the rabbit hole!
