yess! the amount of autotune on his voice was perfect; not grating or overly artificial. i think production did a good job in enhancing his natural vocal flair

Jimin even created the choreography for his song “Who”. Jimin also is involved in design of album covers, and choosing concept & look during photoshoots! To work on creating all this music, all this content non stop for almost a couple yrs is beyond mind boggling to think about! Ah great reaction thank you. Jimin chose to sing it in English because he said the theme is relatable for everyone :) Yes he said it’s like 2000s vibe and filmed like a musical. The mv was his idea too and filmed in Budapest. The theme of the song is his and unlike other songs which he wrote he needed help in this because he couldn’t write it in English. You should watch live performance in Jimmy Fallon he filmed in South Korea just before he enlisted.

I'm pretty sure the heavier processing is to help with the English pronunciation. That was very clear on Dynamite when it came out. Also, the Jimmy Fallon performance of Who had a heavier accent, which supports this theory.
I believe that's a jimin voice !Jimin doesn't need AutoTune 😅 on this song . He's was harmonizing from what I heard a million times, hehe.. I couldn't be wrong and this song is all English!!! Who? Is such a good pop song, and he gave us very subtle choreography but powerful . It made it look so easy but I bet it’s not . But I like seeing him dance with females. Cause I see the contrast, yes Jimin does have a feminine aura to him but you can see his masculine side more. They both worked alongside side with Jimin as well as Evan, all 4 working together to create / produce both Jimin’s 1st album FACE, then working immediately after on Jimin’s 2nd album MUSE: Which song gave you the most trouble, then? Pdogg: Maybe “Who”? That probably took us the longest. We tried so many different approaches before the song finally worked. We finally just decided to go to New York and work on it with Jimin there, and that’s what we did. GHSTLOOP: We sat down with Jon Bellion, who produced the song with us, and Jimin briefed us on everything. Jon had this huge whiteboard in his studio, and as Jimin explained everything to him, Jon latched onto what Jimin was saying, like, “Oh, so that’s what he’s looking for,” and wrote it all down. (laughs) Pdogg: It was clear what Jimin wanted to do with “Who.” He was there with us the whole time, giving us his ideas all throughout. Watched one producer’s reaction to this and he’s actually clarified that it’s not autotune, but stacked vocals that we’re hearing, specifically from this song. It’s and RnB/pop technique used before autotune.

You’ll note the late 90s/early 2000s aesthetic…that was the sound back then and I agree, once again, it’s tastefully done for its intended effect. You’ll also note autotune isn’t actually used throughout the whole song. The majority of us (other than the haters) understand why it’s used and know when it’s used correctly and tastefully! What a banger this song is! It should have gone to number #1 BB but of course when your label neglects to fully support you - as a label should - not promoting him properly, not opening up every opportunity for the fans to buy his songs/his album and failing to send this song in particular, to radio as soon as it came out, what can one expect?! Notwithstanding, just as was the case with Like Crazy, it has broken records and beat veteran artists taking first spot in most of the charts.
