Jimin's lost Jams I was low key waiting for a comment like that but still you can’t deny how funny it is that the men were a group of men and he didn’t really notice
@@saufiksaad4642 well there rlly hasnt been much LGBTQ representation in kpop, so to have male dancers in full glam dancing the same dance as chungha says a lot
Bris : " Google how to be the hand " Me : " How to be one of the backup dancers rolling on the floor so Chungha can lay her majestic soul on me too." 👑 Edit : thank you for the like and I'd like to use This comment to ask Bris to react to the MV named KAZINO by BIBI because she is underrated in my opinion and I'd love to see him react to it
Yeah, Chungha is definitely incorporating elements from the lgbt community; vogue, drag, and the style of dance she's most known for, whacking, came from the underground lgbt dance scene... But, can we just stop and appreciate the music for a second? Is it just me, or does it seem like Chungha _insists_ on having *FAT* bass lines in her songs now? Snapping had a fat bass line in it, and now this one does too...(I'm from Texas, same as Chungha, and in Texas there is a strong underground hip hop scene, especially out of Houston, that birthed some of the biggest artists today; including lil' Flip, Chamillionaire, Paul Wall, Mike Jones, DJ Screw, Travis Scott and Beyonce...so, like, I wonder if that proximity to hip hop influenced her taste in sub-bass tones for her own music...)
@@52andattitude48 Definitely... and on top of all of that, the thing that I really enjoy about Chungha is that it seems like every song she releases is a song she believes in...like, it wasn't just a song that was written by some producer and forced onto her to perform...you see a lot of Kpop girl groups who are given songs with concepts that almost seem to make the members uncomfortable performing(i.e. sexy concepts for groups whose members are barely of age.) But with Chungha, when she releases a song or album, I get the sense that this is something that comes directly from her, like it's her genuine artistic expression...and she's not just another highly trained Kpop star acting as a conduit for another person's artistic expression.
I definitely think her music and performance truly reflect her artistry and inspiration! Chungha was born for this and is bringing a new level of individuality to the kpop soloist scene.
well, that'd be assuming she gets any input in her mvs and songs other than in choreography - which sadly still isnt that common in kpop. do you know if she does?
The first dancers in the circle are men and when she rolls over them and when she’s in the box and yeah we’re here for it. I think this is the best come back 😍
What I love about Chungha besides the dancing and the singing is that she's not a total diva. She's beyond that. She's a dancing queen, and she never disappoints. I got goosebumps watching the video for the first time. In the future, she will become a dancing legend. Her and her dancers.
I gotta admit that it wasn’t a song I liked at first but after hearing it a couple more times, I’m in love with it. The song is so good because the beat drops and the dance just click well and I’m really proud of chungha for pulling off this concept.
This is a very modern sounding/retro sounding song. It’s a retro style, but modern at the same time, which is very popular right now. First, to the vocals, they are incredible. It is clear this song was constructed to showcase her vocals, to let her show her range, which is phenomenal. This song also sounds like it’s something that could be from Dua Lipa’s current album Future Nostalgia. It has that vibe. A+ for this song, music video, and vocals. Chung Ha knows what she’s doing.
there are two groups of dancers, both boys and girls, and some of the dancers are part of south korea's lgbt+ and drag scene so that's super cool! we love a respectful queen
This is such a Bop, Chungha best song, concept, mv, choreography (with voguing) and she is using dancers from Ballroom community in Korea THIS IS EVERYTHING!!!!! ✨🤩❤️
I follow the Choreographer because she dances with BoA on Social media and I have to say she Choreographed the mess out of this. The details are amazing in dance so proud of her and Chungha did that!
Ball culture of Harlem would be the best description of the dance moves that Drag Queens use. Pose Season 2 had a whole thing about Madonna and Voguing. My Uncle took me to the Balls when I was young , maybe too young. If you are curious about ball culture, the good, the bad and the ugly can be seen on a documentary "Paris is Burning". For entertainment, watch "Pose".
i love this so much. love the visuals, love the choreo, love all chungha's looks/fashion, LOVE that chunky bass line on the chorus. and you made a great point about including human- the peop- the humans- the people from the community she's influenced by😂
I was literally sitting here waiting for his reaction. And YES Chungha slayed again, I'm just praying to hear this in a club cause let's be honest, this SHOULD be a summer club anthem. 😫❤️
I love your thoughts on this! Definitely will like and subscribe because your reaction was so nice. I agree that it’s awesome she included people who inspired her. She’s a goddess and this comeback is amazing
the way you described the dancers in the beginning of the song as "a dress" is actually accurate! in a video made by one of the choreographers, she mentioned that she wanted it to look like the movement of a dress when it's swirling!
I'm so tired to watch this MV and to literally CRY EVERY SINGLE TIME But at least I always know what to expect: A PERFECT SONG, PERFECT VISUAL AND YOUR VIDEO REACTION
