This is the only original song from Super Real Me as the other three were company decided. Wonhee and Iroha were involved with lyrics and music production for Midnight Fiction. Joo-hwan Noh produced the song who joined Source Music's in-house production team last year after ILLIT's line-up was formed from R U Next. This was absent from Hybe's ILLIT's debut showcase but included in Mnet's I'll Show It and financially supporting a MV that Hybe couldn't provide Belift. Since Mnet owns Kcon I'm hopeful we will see Midnight Fiction performed for the first time in ZOZO Marine Stadium next week.
@@hbranthopefully it does, even with a different concept/storyline for the mv, this song is a full bop and would do numbers as a mv. but there whole album is a no skip album for me lol!
@@tyaalice It was performed at Hankuk university's spring festival with encore microphones in their hand. Belift surprise me with ILLIT. I did also saw Enhypen's comeback. Wonderkid and Cashcow were not part of this release and they are in-house music production team of Belift. I guess they are working with ILLIT on their first comeback. Ju-hwan Noh who were involved with My World, Lucky Girl Syndrome and produced Midnight Fiction did also produced the remixes for Magnetic and all speed-up versions. I assume he is now a regular music producer of ILLIT. He joined Source Music's in-house production team last year after ILLIT was formed from r u next. His past work with GFriend's songs, early Loona song, early Twice song and tripleS song made him joined Hybe's Source Music. Since then produced Yunjin's song, last track on Easy EP and worked with ILLIT. Another talented music producer Hybe scoops up from the market and fans of other groups get even more jealous and accuse Hybe for monopolizing the industry lol. Wonderkid and Cashcow were the same and 13 (Score/Megatone) as well. The only organic growth is BigHit's music production team: Slow Rabbit, Pdogg, Supreme Boi and hitman bang (Si-hyuk Bang). Anyway, Wonderkid is behind big hits like Given-Taken. I can probably see why Belift wants to switch up a bit. It would also be great for Wonderkid to work on something different than vampire theme.
@@johnaudrict8522 I can reply to yours because 2 days have passed. RU-vid is weird lol. Midnight Fiction was performed at Hankuk university's spring festival. I guess it will now be performed at Kcon too. Btw, all remixes for Magnetic were produced by Ju-hwan Noh. I hope ILLIT and Belift will go with Starlit as the fan club name.
These girls are giving us something so refreshing. Spring is here, so the timing is perfect! All four tracks on the album are just .... wonderful, but they're too short, sadly. I see a huge comeback in a couple or a few months.
I watched this a while back but it left me speechless so i came back to comment... illit's just starting out, and they started perfectly! I dont know how to explain it, but this song makes me feel an emotion i dont know
their songs are great, I really love this song, and I love how unique their voices are, like you can listen with your eyes closed and still you can know each line each member is singing
This is their most underrated song honestly. I love how soft and catchy the melody is. Other than magnetic, this song takes the First place for me in their album.
Kind of sad there isn't a dance or stage performance to this song. Hopefully there will be one because this is my favorite song and I would love to learn the dance to it.
@@illitsm Moonlit sounds better especially with upcoming webtoon, Summer Moon. It distinguish from dive, bunnies and fearnots. Btw, Super Real Me sold pretty good. 288k in South Korea in the first week (IVE's Eleven sold 267k in one month) and did even sold more than BTS debut in the first week. 380k worldwide in the first week. NewJeans debut sold 301k, Le Sserafim's Fearless 300k and aespa's Savage around 296k worldwide. For being the shortest mini-album of all time (less than 10 min) Hybe didn't spend much budget on the debut. Youngseo leaves could set expectations lower. It exceeded Hybe's expectations.
