Right after the Korean War. When a majority of US forces left after the war, they left a lot of processed American cheese and other food products behind which kind of just got incorporated into Korean Cuisine.
Oh I thought it was because the cheese god descended in Korea (on the streets) and gave them the greatest of cheese. They loved the cheese so much that they decided to make their own to enjoy and since the cheese has been here for so long, they are obsessed without even realizing it and are trapped in a never ending loop of chEEse.

I tell you how to make a good crust..... you need: 1 container with some wheat flour, one with smashed up eggs and one with dry bread crumbs and unsweetened corn flakes (give them a good smash in a bag). Take your prepared meats of your choice and put it in the wheat flour then in the eggs and then in the bread crumbs and cornflakes mix. The only important thing is make sure the meat is all covered.
If you are in cebu , you can come and visit katzpapa restaurant located in gaisano country mall. They are selling cheese katsu, and many more katsu's to choose. After the quarantine for sure everyone wanna eat the food they craves for long...
