@@cherry-insomnia9188 i seriously agree. Her vocals are very powerful and great but so is her dancing. I love her dancing the most in Kard. Her dancing in gunshot especially. I love how fluid she is. Plus her energy is always so consistent and the amount of power she puts in her movements are a perfect amount. She deserves to be recognized for her dancing too
@Rrp67 nope I disagree she definitely has a beautiful, colourful tone. I've seen her sing a couple of songs from different genres. The way she changes her tone accordingly is quite incredible. From hola hola to you and me to taki taki to break down (especially where she starts from "So" ,that heavy switch of her tone is not something everyone can do) ,also from whip to havana to gidd up (just before her high note that heavy tone isn't everyone's cup of tea). One must have quite a range to sing like that. Yes she does have a sweet voice but not too sweet her vocal tone is very strong with alot of texture ,not like other idols at all (other female idols especially those extremely girlish groups their voices are too much Doll kinda cute ,cringy for me tho) , Somin has quite a range. She has a strong voice.
