I think what you’re hearing was the crowd doing the fanchant. In every song, they create a fanchant where TEUMES can sing/shout out loudly during their perfomance. These fanchants are composed of some lyrics in the song and the names of the members 😊💎
Choi is actually his last name, first is Hyun-suk! There was a whole controversy in kpop over live vocals right around the time Babymonster had their official debut with Sheesh, and YG was like alright time for my girls to shine! For their last two live show performances they brought out a band and sang live with handmics (as opposed to headsets, which are common since most groups go and lip-sync, focusing more on choreography and visuals) and it was so well received that not only has Baemon almost exclusively performed with handmics since, he had all of Treasure start using them as well (some of the guys like the rapper trio were already doing so, but now all 10 do) bc they can flex just as hard as their little sisters. And if theres three things YG is always gonna do, its a) make insane rappers b) make insane music videos and c) only debut artists who are talented, fully trained, and able to put on a SHOW You should react to Treasure’s Silence of the Idol episode! It’s one of the most legendary episodes of the show and pure chaos and hilarity (Baemon recently went on as well)!
FYI, in this live performance they did not use in-ear monitors (like most live performances usually) and they also sang fully live, how can they be that amazing?
