yea they debuted last year. this song is different from the previous 2 releases but it still has that purple kiss flavor. u should really check out ponzona and zombie.
Adrey, they have one of the most interesting and complete discographies in the industry. And they are constantly credited all over the album. Yuki is already the second most credited 4th gen girl group member (after G-idle Soyeon). Their albums are the type that you put on from track 1 and just let it play. It's a journey. I really think you should check out their albums. They are just so...complete. Don't know how else to describe it 1) Each of their albums have an intro Performance video. Be sure to check them out when you inevitably do an album listen (and hopefully reaction) 2) If you want to start from the beginning: - There is a debut trailer for each member (these are 1.5 ish minute standalone MV where you can see each member perform and sing. These came out summer/fall 2020 and were incredible. Please check them out! 7 individual videos and one group video). These are not the teasers for the comeback - these are teasers for the members when the group was announced. Album #1 - Debut - "Into Violet" - "Intro: Crown" - Only 49 seconds long. billie eilish vibes. So good it should be a full length song - "My Heart Skip a Beat" - Rock and hiphop. Fantastic upbeat bop (pre-release MV) - "Can we talk again" - R&b style. Showing off vocals (pre-release MV) -"Ponzona" - Title track! - "Skip Skip" full choreo b-side Album #2: "Hide & Seek" - "Intro: Freaky pukri" Performance MV - "Zombie": Title track - "Cast Pearls before Swine": Performance MV Album #3: "memeM" - Intro: Illusion Performance MV - "memeM" - title track
Purple Kiss is a group I only discovered a few months ago and I think it's hugely unfair they aren't more popular. I didn't used to give credence to the notion that groups from the big 3 companies were ever "overhyped" but now I do. They continue to prove, to me at least, that the best music comes from groups who help create it themselves.
Hello! I love watching your vids and as much as I loved the entire thing with memeM, I get what you and other people are feeling about the song. I do agree that switch-ups are getting stagnant and I did expect a switch-up somewhere in this song, but I didn't expect it to be all over. I hope you can also react to "Ponzoña" and "Zombie", their previous two releases. I really loved these songs and they are a more cohesive body of work. Looking forward to your feelings about these songs!
thank u for reaction! yeah this is really 4tg gen song but imo this one did it in the cleanest way possible and it is my fav song from this "genre" even tho I don't really like all these switch ups from the album tho pretty psycho is amazing hope u will react to their big brothers onewe (band like with actual instruments, they are so talented, they got one of the best vocalists in the industry, they create their own songs themselves and were self formed before signing with rbw) and oneus (idol boy group, talented as well, xion from oneus is a twin to onewe's dongmyeong, which only adds to this brother groups situation) I think u might know mamamoo tho their bigger sisters like who doesn't know mamamoo right (I might be wrong but I think everyone knows these vocal queens) subbing! also why I did even bring onewe up (they are my ults, first reason lol) and cuz cya from onewe (pronounced key-ah, bassist, rapper, macnae) featured in purple kiss's memem story films and in zombie MV, he also participated in creating zombie
i dont think what theyre doing is really the "switch-up trend" tho 😂 (im assuming youre referring to aespa, nmixx, etc) cause it's a basic pop song structure (verse - prechorus - chorus - verse 2 - prechorus - chorus - bridge - outro chorus) and the change between each parts of songs are just the basic formula of songwriting where you have hard hitting rap-heavy verses (prevalent in girl crush songs) and when you go to prechorus they strip all the percussions, cut the tempo to prepare listeners for the chorus (where they bring all the intensity back).
Hello, besties! I just wanna share an extended version of this song! I hope y'all like it! :3 "MEMEM" EXTENDED VERSION: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YUSQKan4dPs.html
