My friend (theatre historian) once told me that a voice can evoke a physical reaction from you just as a punch would because it's a physical wave. Therefore certain voices/notes we find attractive although we can't exactly pinpoint why. And to me, it's Woorim's low, deep, bass voice. Like yes, it's incredibly sexy, but it hits me like a bus, to the point that my stomach literally hurts. So Vera, if someone ever told you that you're overreacting, please don't listen to them. It's a huge chance that you're biologically built to experience music differently ;)

For me it was the most 'emotional' one among all of their performances. It's a Korean song but you can feel that strong emotion immediately.

Thank you for your enthusiastic reaction to Forestella! The high-pitch voiced guy, Kang HyungHo (Pitta) was a research chemist who used to sing as an amateur rock vocalist in his leisure time. He wanted to sing from his juvenil days but his parents didn't agree him to go to art school. So his music life started since he joined the rock band in the university. He used to cover Muse so developed his falsetto that good. (He has very talented voice tho, singing technique also is great.) Even after graduation he continued the band and won the Grand-Prix in laborers' band contest. His sensational audition song- the Phantom of the Opera was his killer repertoire. You can watch rock version of the Phantom of the Opera in Lotto Singer aired in MBN. (He has another fenomenon video of the Phantom of the Opera JTBC doesn't show for abroad. He debuted as Forestella through Phantom Singer 2- a survival audition show to form a crossover quartet aired on JTBC. Forestella is the winner group from that.) He quit his research chemist job 1 year after the debut as Forestella. He would have worries and considering about career and steady salary, stable life but finally chose the life of professional musician. As a fan of him and of Forestella I truly appreciate for his decision from heart. He has RU-vid channel in a name of Pitta. It was his band name but now he is using it as his nickname as a solo artist. You can watch another version of the Phantom of Opera there! #Pitta #강형호

I remember when this song was released originally. It was a taboo subject as was Freddie Mercury and others like Elton John flamboyant homosexuality in Conservative America. We were still dealing with the effects of Societal change from the 60s, Civil Rights and the the Vietnam War at this time. Although Foristella killed it, I'd be OK to not hear another cover of many of our iconic songs. All by Myself is another. I like your reactions and personal style Vera 💘

You may also enjoy Bridge over troubled waters and Sweet lies are made of this. They are a special group. They sang this on Immortal Songs, a weekly korean music show dedicated to Queen. They did not win the trophy. Korea;s queen of rock Seo Moon Tak performed "I was born to love you'. Wonderful!! Forstella just performed Smooth Criminal, on Immortal Songs 2 210612. You'd enjoy both performances.

Hello, Vera Queen's song is also very good, but Forestella's cover surprised me. From the bass to the treble, their harmonious and vocal sounds are so good that even the same guy can hear them.
