I also didn't even know who Park Hyungsik was until this drama, I didn't even know he was in Ze:a. After watching this drama, the rest is history. I'm in the process of going back and watching all of his prior works, as few as they are. I just can't get enough of him. He's gorgeous, passionate, but also incredibly humble and witty.

I believe the success of this drama was solely due to Hyung Shik's popularity, charm and good looks. The writing wasn't particularly strong. Too many support actors to devote and focus on the main characters. I know I tuned in weekly just to see Hyung Shik on the screen. He is now the "It" celebrity. You did a fabulous job putting together a video of his outfits. I'd still give this drama two thumbs up for choosing Park Hyung Sik to play the male lead. And Park Bo Young was so adorable and handled her much more complex role as a female lead. If I were a movie/TV producer thinking of a future project, I'd capitalize on Park Hyung Sik's eagerness to take on another male lead role ASAP.
YES, THIS COMMENT SO MUCH. You perfectly encapsulated my thoughts about this drama. As much as I love Park Boyoung, every time I saw Bongsoon I always thought "Oh, that's Park Bo Young acting as Do Bongsoon." I saw the actress and her skill. But whenever Hyungsik came onscreen, I fully believed his character and totally immersed myself into the life of Ahn Minhyuk, rather than seeing a separate actor and character - he was actually the only character I really believed tbh. Maybe perhaps he excelled with Minhyuk was because the two have similar personalities, but Hyungsik does exceptionally well with all of his characters - I recommend everyone to watch him in Sirius and What Happens to My Family, he proves that he can play a variety of personas.

Very handsome, stylish, good actor, has sense of humor, very talented, very humble and I think he also had a great personality. 😍 Hope after his DC in the military they can have a reunion drama with PBY.
