Sickness ran through our home infecting 2 kids and dad. Now we are finally on the mend and recovering from being sick. Sickness is tough especially when it is contagious and running through a family of 7. It is almost impossible not to get sick kids or even sick parents here at the PHILLIPS FamBam house. Once one kid is sick then every kid gets sick. So Ethan went from being painfully sick to much better with a little cough now. You should hear Danny's voice as the sickness got to him as well. I just got the bug going around. Scratchy throat Sat night.. Sunday morning losing my voice and sore throat and since then absolutely no voice and stomach bug with it. The cough has probably been the worst though... barky and painful. So glad your family is finally getting over it. Thank you for sharing your family here and on Instagram for all us Fambammers.

I have Asthma and I kind of think it’s very bulky to carry a spacer and Inhaler, I feel like the people to make Inhalers should make an Inhaler bag or something for the Inhaler and spacer. Especially when I’m going to school. I hate my triggers, I have a pet and I can’t be near to him, and the worst part is fresh cut grass, I must have my Inhaler and Spacer . Even when I want to go for a jog or run with my family, *FRESH CUT GRASS* everywhere. Like it’s the worst! Hope you guys are hopefully getting over the sickness!

I have a Wind tunnel vac! It has worked well for me, I live alone and only vac about twice a month. The unit is about 20 yrs old! I'm glad everyone is on the mend and feeling better! Still sending some prayers for full healing and recovery!

Emberlynn was so sweet to make a sandwich for Elijah. I’m happy everyone is feeling better. I’m asthmatic also, so I know how much it can affect even a simple cold. We have a Kirby vacuum and Shark vacuum. We love them both. Hope everything is ok with Danny’s lip. Feel better every one. Sending you all lots of love!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I vacuum at least twice a week, with a shark navigator. I have the same thing Danny and Ethan have. Glad their starting to feel better.

I love my Shark. We have had it for 7 yrs now and best one by far. I have really long hair so my husband has to take the bottom plate off about once a week and get the hair off the beater brush but that’s it. I sure hope Danny and Ethan are feeling better. They sound horrible 😔

I’m also an asthmatic and I had to get rid of all the carpet in my house and put a laminate flooring down. It has helped a lot.

Astma sucks, I know it, i got COPD myself (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) so i got my daily inhalers. Vacuum daily, dusting stuff off daily, curtains weekly to make the air as clean as possible. Hope you guys feel a lot better soon.

I'm glad that Ethan is starting to feel better. I usually try to vacuum our floor every 2 days. I could tell a little bit that Danny's lip was swollen. I'm glad that his lip started to go down from the benadryl. Great sports announcement Elijah. I always loved sleeping over at my best friend Ericas on her trampoline in the summer when we were younger. Great vlog as always. Thanks for sharing with us!

Hope y'all fell better soon. I have notice it takes people with asthma longer to get better and its seem it's worse for them. I have asthma and I know that Dr actually say that anyone with lung problems seems like when they get sick it's worse for them and it takes longer for them to get better bc your body has to worke alot more to help u breath.

Nasel spray and plan water helps dryly nose and throat. My guessing it’s the dust. I hate dusting apartment

Glad everyone is starting to feel better. We don't have any carpet to vacuum and no animals in the house. My Mom has asthma. I don't curl my hair, I usually use rollers to curl my hair. My hair is thick and is wavy, used to have long hair but now I wear it short since my hair is thick, wavy, and heavy it was weighing it down too much to wear it long and was breaking off too much.

Orajel makes a mouthwash/rinse that helps with mouth sores. Works amazingly. My kids and myself included bite the inside part of our cheeks and found the orajel to be very helpful. Danny should try it. 👍💕

Glad Ethan is feeling better. Poor Danny looks like he feels bad. Prayers for his speedy recovery 🙏My family Dr. use to tell us to gargle with warm salt water 3 to 4 times a day while sick with different throat issues. Seemed to get better quicker. Maybe it cleanses the tonsils and throat of food and germs. Don't know but seemed to help. My son has asthma so I know how it can be when they get sick. Hopefully you didn't get sick Tina. Next time you get a gift card to that place re-gift it unless your scared of making someone else sick. ❤🙏🕇

With kids having asthma I would get rid of the carpets. Besides all that gets down in them, sometimes the backing starts disintegrating and causes dust. I have a Shark and I like it very well. Sorry that half the family is sick. I see that Ines' family has a sick one also. Hope you all feel well soon.

Dyson vacuum is my favorite! There is nothing better. Vacuum a couple times a week because two people in the house and no pets

I don't vacuum as often as I probably should. But when I sweep or vacuum weekly if I only fill 1 dustpan worth of stuff I question why I should do it daily. And that's with 2 people & 2 cats. I do sweep or vacuum more frequently if a lot more stuff gets tracked around like mud if it's been super rainy. So I need to sweep & vacuum tomorrow assuming our AC person comes in the next 2 hours (emergencies trump tune ups)...insulation gets tracked everywhere. We have a bissell clearview helix which works pretty good, but the canister is pitifully small.

I vacuum every Monday during the day. After I clean the liter box I’ll vacuum around it and then the rugs also near it. Tina you had my favorite salad at the BBQ place! I love getting that salad at some local restaurants around me. So good! Why don’t you guys do sleepovers? I only had a couple in middle school. High school I was allowed to do more. I’m also only child so it worked out better

So glad everyone's feeling better. This is a rough time of year in our house as well. We've got 3 asthmatics with horrible allergies, I have Epilepsy and had a mild stroke last June. I can't take otc meds, so I stay away from the others when they're sick. LoL We vacuum/dust at least once a week, but it's the pollen & dander that get us the worst.

I know I commented on the Instagram, but our sharks...I had a pet hair one and I thought it was good, but when we got the Shark Navigator...oh my goodness...you could see a color difference on my carpet. It went from this gray I just thought was the carpet lol to a bright beige again just from cleaning up all the hair. Yeah...we vacuum A LOT because of my asthma and the dust is ridiculous here.

My husband and I were on our way home from Sam’s Club and all of a sudden my chest got super tight and breathing was hard. I figured out as soon as we got onto I-75 and I looked right and saw the fresh cut grass, I quickly grabbed my inhaler from my pocket and after just a few minutes I felt better. Yeah I too have asthma and new cut grass is especially hard for me. Plus I was a bit dehydrated luckily we had bought Gatorade and I grabbed a bottle from the middle of the pack. Gatorade is my jam this time of year.

I definitely vacuum my house once a day. Sometimes twice 🙄. Between 3 kids, 3 dogs & always a houseful of the kids friends I have to vacuum! I absolutely HATE carpet & am hoping to tear out the remaining carpet in my home very soon!! I have a Shark vacuum & will never purchase anything else!! They are the best vacuums....period!! I even tried Dyson & Rainbows & wasn't impressed. The Shark is good for all flooring types & does a fabulous job of getting up all dirt/debris. You should definitely check into getting one. I can promise you won't be having to purchase a new vacuum in 6 months if you get a Shark!!

Being in a city the light pollution will stop you from seeing the stars. Hope you all feel much better soon. I too have asthma and find most illnesses linger a lot longer. Or I develop a chest infection and have to have steroids and antibiotics .... Not fun. I have been told before by doctors you should get an ambulance when you get this bad. But here in the UK the NHS is struggling we are incredibly lucky to have it so I'm mindful not to put extra pressure on it. asthma is horrible

Also shark lift away vacuum for pet hair will change your life. I’ve had mine for 8 months & it was one of the best investments we ever made. We have a 90 pound dog, 60 pound, & 4 pound & they all shed badly. I at least have to vacuum twice a week.

We vacuum everyday twice a day, I work at a Animal Hospital and we have a cat. It doesn't matter how much I try, I always leave hair everywhere.. I love it though 🐈🐕🐾💉
