﹝Digimon World 1﹞How to digivolve to Skull Greymon 

+JL Houston when I was a kid, the best I could get is dark tyrranamon I think. It digivolved when I was in the dinosaur area thingy. Well of course, most of the time I got the poop one.

Best I got was a Tyrannamon... AKA Aldi's version of Greymon.

it was because of king sukumon. if you went back and talked to him you can make him take the curse off your digimon. i never figured that out till i played the game again 3 years later.

my digimon crash when it evolves to poop.. then game completely broken 😭😭 thats the last time I played!

...................It kind of counts, since while it is technically possible to get an item to allow you to obtain a WereGarurumon, it's a very glitchy and buggy mess, unfortunately

There are a number of things to keep in mind, since once your Digimon reaches the champion level, they aren't guaranteed to digivolve into their ultimate level before they fade away. You have 4 categories to meet: weight (you can be within 5 lbs of the required weight and still have it count), care mistakes made, stats (most ultimates require all 6 stats to be raised to a certain amount), and bonus conditions (most have 2 possible "bonus" conditions, and they're usually techs learned, battles fought, and happiness or discipline, and you only need 1 for it to count). By meeting at least 3 of the 4 of these conditions, you should successfully digivolve to an ultimate. I actually once got a Monzaemon by getting his bonus condition instead of making 0 care mistakes (the bonus condition I used was learning 49+ techs, but the other is 50+ battles).

Go for sukamon. The platinum sukamon.

No, not in this game they can't. The only example of a digivolution that can be reversed is if your Digimon becomes a Sukamon: if this happens to you, take it to Trash Mountain and speak to King Sukamon, and he'll turn your Digimon back to it's previous form. It's also a good idea to do this with an ultimate level Digimon, since they'll actually be able to live a few more days if this happens to them.

john stambulich Yeah, that was a weird comment I made years ago. Not sure why I said that cause I’ve seen the anime and that episode a dozen tones over as a kid and this game plus Cyber Sleuth are the only games that I know of where you can get that version of Metalgreymon. I have no idea why I made that previous comment like that.

+chrisliam2 Yup only MetalGreymon can turn into SkullGreymon. I personally think that SkullGreymon is better because he can use Ice Statue, and not to mention if you get it from MetalGreymon, it will receive some stat boosts and longer life-span because it counts as a natural Digivolution.

Yea, getting Skillgreymon in this game is the same concept as getting Devimon from Angemon Lose a battle with discipline gauge below 50% and you will have 50% chance to become skullgreymon

@@SquidKhaw .....That's partly true. While this MetalGreymon was the first version we got, the orange one he is talking about is a vaccine type, while the one in this game is a virus type. This version of MetalGreymon also appeared in the anime once in season 2, when the Digimon Emperor used a dark spiral to control Tai's Agumon and forced it to dark digivolve into this form.

I could ask the same thing about Digimon like Andromon and Giromon as well. Andromon can even be seen scratching the back of his head after pooping as if to say, "am I really supposed to be programed to do that?"

@@matthewkuscienko4616 Andromon is only half robot if I remember correctly. But I don't know who Gyromon is.

@@Hynotama That's true. Going by lore, Andromon, along with Boltmon were the first 2 cyborg Digimon created, and both were at least partly biological in nature. That being said, and based on Andromon's action in the game when he poops, I get that impression. Giromon is quite the odd Digimon, to put it bluntly: he has devilish-looking horns, a toothy grin (and a mouthful of sharp teeth), floats in mid-air (since he has no legs), and carries a chainsaw in one hand. He's actually one of the most powerful Digimon in the game, but his finisher, Deadly Bomb, was one of the worst: it was powerful, sure, but you had no way to control it, it sat in a random corner of the screen after being thrown, and an enemy had to walk into it to make it go off, and it had a good chance of not doing anything at all. I'm surprised you'd forgotten about Giromon, he's actually pretty memorable (but maybe it's just me, he WAS one of my favorite Digimon in the game).

@@matthewkuscienko4616 well I didn't play any digimon game besides the Cyber Sleuth games. When you were playing on a PS1, I was being impressed by an NES bootleg with some roms on it and later. I live in Romania. Also I didn't think people would actually take skyllgreymon's poop seriously.

@@matthewkuscienko4616 giromon and piximon and mamemon and metalmamemon are practically just a ball. Although giromon is the weirdest as it can walk without legs and float without wings.

No, this was the original MetalGreymon color scheme. The Vaccine version that's more well known and used in the Anime was the recolor.

@@StarlightMagician I think the reason why the did this was because they didn't want any of the chosen children to have a virus type Digimon as their partner, since those Digimon are often times depicted as being evil. It also was probably changed because it was easier to animate the Greymon to MetalGreymon digivolution since this way, they wouldn't have to worry about changing his color scheme
