Blackheartzero, the Underground Song Critic Oh my god, same... I remember the beginning scene when the child screamed, I was TERRIFIED of that scene. No, not because of the red eyes under the bed, or the monster looking over the child... it was that DAMN SCREAM.
Not So Toasty Boi I think it somewhat a metaphor that "humans are the real monster" . Meh Im just spitting crap. But tbh it really did scare me shitless even until now and I dont know why

Everyone else is looking at the meme while I’m just impressed at 1:06 when he actually made the light reflect onto things. That’s some dedication to a meme
It wasn't really because of the profits but because electricity is essential, it's like us humans depending on alien children as a source of power, think if there is no electricity, internet itself will cease to exist.

0:55 When confronted about his way of harvesting scream energy, Henry James Waternoose III releases his full power to kill Sulley to stop his secret from coming to light
I've always wondered: Does it really make sense for the monster society to care about whether Waternoose kidnaps children? Don't they already believe that children are poisonous and otherwise worthless except for their screams? Sure, kidnapping by our standards is unethical, but by monster standards, it's also perfectly ethical to break into children's homes, shock them out of deep sleep, and psychologically torture them by inducing as much fear as possible. Farming them for their screams doesn't seem like it would be that far off.
My guess is that their societal ethics standards are a little bit lower than those of the humans, but they still have ethics. Initially Monstropolis (and probably every monster town and stuff) was powered off of scare energy and was seen as the only viable power source, so maybe it would be frowned upon to do that but people still ultimately accepted it because it was a necessity, and that, along with scare energy no longer being viable, was likely why they switched to humor energy at the end of the movie, because if you're going to break into people's homes then you should at least try to make it a pleasant experience. The line was drawn, however, when unethical practices were done that weren't necessary, such as kidnapping children. As you can probably tell, I have no clue what I'm saying, and in reality that was probably an unintentional contradiction on the fault of the writers.
I mean why bring the toxic waste into your world when you can leave it on its own. Besides, chances are that if too many kids disappeared, it would get extensively harder to get them over time, while the normal barging in results in little to no problems.
To the Agents’ knowledge, Waternoose incriminated himself, admitting to harvesting toxic material to boost sales for his company. On a base level that’s grounds for arrest, regardless of everything that gets revealed about children in the aftermath of this movie’s events.
@@FC_mania by toxic material, you're referring to children, right? Since the Monsters see children as biohazards? I guess your theory would make sense: bringing a child, a known biohazard, into the monster world would create a public danger, and thus would be a crime
I wish they did this in the film, where his eyes would glow red and his voice would sound distorted when he gets angry. It would have made him more terrifying. Imagine seeing that on the big screen. 0_0
Thanks! It took a little over a month to make this whole sequence. His glowing eyes alone were animated frame by frame at 30 frames per second, so it was quite the challenge.
This so good, the first second was so good as it sounded like the start of a boss fight. I think this video made Waternoose one of the coolest villains, if this was actually in the movie, he would have been best villain ever. I mean this guy is an old spider and his strength is still enough to threaten Sully to which Sully needs to run away from him.
Cheffery "Making sure it's workers are getting paid" yes because the multinational corporation with its own music label, a tech line including smart phones, a successful film studio, and the current number one videogame console, is struggling to make ends meet, without Spider-Man their employees would go hungry.
