I mean this is no ordinary gun, it’s a deagle. Have you ever seen it’s reload it’s secretly a demon that consumes the clip from the top and poops out an empty one at the bottom so it sorta is quite painful to be hit by a demonic deagle. Some games I feel like “damn this is so unrealistic, nobody can shoot this good” then sometimes I’m like “aiming is so hard in this game, I can shoot better than this irl”.
The second one is more common being a veteran, especially one that survived a war. I know from experience. I was a U.S. Army combat medic that served during the Iraq war.
It depends. Games where you play as some one with training or extensive experience using guns makes sense for them to be able to control the recoil better. In other games where your character is supposed to be poorly trained or untrained, it makes sense for recoil to have a larger effect.
yeah and the guy who has the world record on Bowser's Big Bean Burrito sounds like the handsome man who confirmed that the hit 1988 NES videogame, "Super Mario Bros. 2" is the best of all time.
I was told once, and I can see the point of, that it's why you start with a rifle first or something with a stock which makes sense, you're holding the weapon at two different points, it's heavier and you're bracing it against your shoulder.
Real life: "I've just had my first experience shooting a real gun and I can now taste my thumb through my nose, despite neither one touching the other."
I remember buying those toy revolvers with the red rings. I once tried to aim using the sight, and since it zooms into the sight in games, I kept my eye close to the sight. Guess what happened.
I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about and must keep the 4 month reply alive. Also I remember having those pop/crack guns from the dollar store when I was a kid, but I dont recall them actually having recoil...
@@berbtheherb ah, so you are saying the original commenter just burnt the crap out of himself due to the cylinder gap. Thanks, this makes sense I did not realize pressure escaped through the cylinder of pop guns like real revolvers.
you can literally blink and miss half the joke. Nice detail (EDIT) Bit late, but for clarification if you blink when the gun fires in the movies and tv shows part you can miss it
no joke if you blink when the no recoil gun fires, you miss the entire thing. Which I why I made this comment after having that happen to me by complete accident
I believe there are a few reasons why guns in films are depicted as having little to no recoil: 1) They are using blanks when firing 2) The actors or their stunt doubles have had some firearms training prior to filming
@@saintedtzunor even a nerf gun they will have a bit of recoil it's just with something like a nerf gun it's so small it's imperceivable. The recoil is just the fact that everything has an equal and opposite reaction and the energy in a bullet that's capable of easily killing someone is gonna also have to go back into the gun where a portion of the force will be taken to start moving the gun and then the rest of the force will transfer into you
Jerry: Yeah, I mean, why go with the "e" anyway? There are plenty of other good letters out there. I mean, you got your a, b, c, hell even d, but they chose e of all things. This society man. Then George finds some way to feel insecure about the whole situation, because of course he does.
When I shot a bunch of guns a few months back for the first time, I thought I was doing something wrong because of all the recoil. The instructor was recording me in slow-mo shooting a glock and he said to watch it and see where I messed up, and it looked like the thing was about to fly out of my hands so I thought it was that and I was so embarrassed. Turns out the only thing I was doing wrong was subconsciously bringing the gun slightly closer to me before I shoot because I was preparing for the recoil, which made the barrel dip and threw off my aim right before I fired. I guess being a 17 year old girl who had never shot a handgun before that moment, it was an absolutely acceptable amount of recoil lol
Then it's not a laser, by definition, a laser is "a device that emits light through a process of optical amplification based on the stimulated emission of electromagnetic radiation. The term "laser" originated as an acronym for "light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation".
@@thelordoflolicons That’s sometimes what people do with handguns, especially high power revolvers. I see people do it all the time and handle the recoil like someone just flicked the gun with their finger
The Australian Army tends to call that ‘Streyr Eye’, as inexperienced users often put their eye right up to the integrated scope, giving themselves a nice black eye.
supersonicbros23 I did this when I went to my friend's house to shoot some airsoft rifles. I had a piece of plastic stuck in my eyelid. I had a swollen eye for about a week.
i know a game which has genuinely realistic recoil pavlov vr some of you might have heard of it but the recoil in that game actually makes sense for some guns if you don’t use 2 hands it literally sends the gun flying out of your hand
Enigma back during the beta on the PS4 It's either I sucked with aiming back then or the recoil on that thing is like trying to keep a damn bull in place
LunarServant Yeah, that was before the parity patch. There was insane recoil back then, now there's none. HSL is supposed to bring the recoil back soon though.
LunarServant Oh, that's something of the past. Now, you can buy every item in the game with GP, no need to buy BL Prime, which has been replaced with a GP Duplicator. They also released a map editor, which I'm using to create a bunch of maps along with other map makers. These maps should be hitting the game in 2017. I'd recommend paying attention to updates and coming back to the game once the balance patch hits.
lol I've always noticed in just about any TV show (or movie) I watch how every character has godlike recoil control abilities, even the stringbeans and gun noobs They put all this effort into nailing every detail of good acting, but they can't be bothered to move their hands a little when they pull the trigger of their fake firearms
I once saw an episode of Grimm where in the middle of one of the big gun fights the guy was jerking his arms in the most over-exaggerated way possible while the rest of his body didn't seem to react at all as he ran perfectly to the side.
I like how they emphasized it by picking a gun the fires a single bullet and it having that recoil, although I must say that was quite generous. That recoil usually comes from a single bullet from an automatic gun.
How about the guy flips the handgun up and pulls the trigger, ejecting the magazine like a bullet, then the guy drops the bullets in through the barrel to reload it or some shit.
Npc's in S.T.A.L.K.E.R be like. Seriously, those fuckers can get you with a shotgun pellet from like 100 meters away while you struggle to land a headshot with an AK at 30 meters.
The temple is on the left and right part of your head. Not your face. More likely your nose crushed, severe bruising, a hemorrhage, and cracks in the skull. The recoil from a Desert Eagle .50C is fucking insane. If that hit your face when firing close to it, the results are potentially life threatening.
*Movie* “Has some kind of robot arm able to withstand all recoil without any reaction” *Videogame* “Holds Desert Eagle close to face, allowing the slide to punch him”
Shotguns in movies: Approximately 50 shells in one receiver, no recoil whatsoever, and constant unnecessary pumping, where shells may or may not actually be ejecting from the gun Shotguns in videogames: Lightning fast reloading Shotguns in real life: Shoulder deletion
you’ll only break your head if your dumb and don’t know hot to hold a gun and get in the right stance I shot a handgun and I was 10 (handguns have a lot of recoil this one had less but it was still there) it was pretty easy but your joke is funny
@@rebeccacummings6697 Also, the recoil of pistols only start mattering when you get into heavy calibers. 22, 32, 380, 9mm Mak, 9mm luger I have shot for hours and hours on end.
My bother in-law had one in 50AE, the recoil isn't bad at all. Honestly, a hot .357 is worse. The most painful part is paying for the ammo (~$1.50 per round).
***** Nah, the video games one. If you're not as muscular as hulk fucking hogan when firing a .50 AE handgun that close to your face, it's more than likely that you'll break your nose, or possibly concuss yourself,
Not necessarily. I fired a .357 cobra and that thing kicks, but even then it's not that bad. In fact, unless you're firing a .44 or .50 revolver, you pretty much get the most recoil in pistols. Semi-autos use the recoil to chamber the shot so it does kick, but you can easily squeeze off more shots using a Desert Eagle in the same time frame as shooting a Colt .357. Recoil is not as bad as they say it is.
