I built near a village, and then i eventually managed to trade a villager for a woodlan mansion map, and as i was heading to it i found a creepy looking forest on a mountain and without the mountain is giant beautiful lush cave, so rather than continue my journey to the mansion i stopped and made a new house within the lush cave and a tree house system throughout the trees so i can see if anything creepy will happen or show up while in either the cave or tree house.
