The 7 Magic Mountains are located 10 miles South of Las Vegas, Nevada from Las Vegas Strip. Most people visit Sin City for casinos and crazy night clubs but situated night in the middle between the natural mountains and artificial city of lights, it is unique art installation.
Travel Tip: You should visit this place and best time
to go here for sunrise for the best pictures. I would recommend sunrise because there’s less people to visit.
This attraction was built as a public art exhibit by Swiss Artist Ugo Rondinone, the 30-foot fluorescent “totems” stands like brightning colorer beacons, lighting up the desert sky.
Rondinone used locally sourced boulders and chose this attraction because it’s physically and symbolically mid-way between the natural and artificial. It’s incredibly popular so best time to visit is early in the morning before hoards to tourists, wedding parties, tictockerw show up to crows the area. This “temporary” art installation was originally only supposed to be open for 2 years but due to its popularity the land permits have been been secured and extended until 2021 and up till now.
Be sure to trek you’re through the desert to this unique work or art before it’s too late.
