TOPIC: DELIVERANCE OF THE MOUTH(CONFESSION)/ OKUSUMULULWA AKAMWA(MU NJOGERA)
◆ As our hearts were delivered, we should also get deliverance of the mouth, the way we confess
◆ We must be transformed from the rest of the people
◆ If Satan casts out Satan [that is, his demons], he has become divided against himself and disunited; how then will his kingdom stand?
◆ There was a certain priest whose name was Zacharias, whose wife was barren
◆ Now it happened while Zacharias was serving as priest before God in the appointed order of his priestly division,
◆ And an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing to the right of the altar of incense.
◆ But when he did come out, he was unable to speak to the people.
◆ His mouth was shut after receiving good news because he would speak against them and hence making them fail to happen
◆ Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor [perpetual animosity, resentment, strife, fault-finding] and slander be put away from you, along with every kind of malice [all spitefulness, verbal abuse, malevolence].
◆ The blood of Jesus is going to deliver us from anger, rage, malice, slander, and obscene (abusive, filthy, vulgar) language from your mouth
◆ Do not lie to one another, for you have stripped off the old self with its evil practices
◆ And have put on the new [spiritual] self who is being continually renewed in true knowledge in the image of Him who created the new self
◆ The Deceptive spirit is the one that makes us do all these negative things with the mouth
◆ The time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold
◆ And will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable].
◆ We only benefit from prayers if we are nolonger confessing negatively
◆ Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ if you take away from your midst the yoke [of oppression], the finger pointed in scorn [toward the oppressed or the godly], and [every form of] wicked (sinful, unjust) speech,
◆ God is going to use us after having achieved deliverance of the mouth
◆ Isaiah was greatly used by God after deliverance
◆ God does not need our background if He wants to use us; Moses was telling God his background but God told him to go and do the work He was to be with him
◆ If there's somewhere we are going to speak to responsible people we should not fear but God will give us words and skills to speak to them responsibly
◆ So make up your minds not to prepare beforehand to defend yourselves
◆ For I will give you [skillful] words and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute, says God the Almighty
◆ When we are going to the court yet we are just falsely accused, we should not worry about what we will talk but the Holyspirit will give us the words to say
◆ But when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given you within that [very] hour for it is not you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you
◆ Evenif we are accused falsely in ministering, God I going to give us the Holyspirit who will give us what to tell them
◆ When they had put the men in front of them, they repeatedly asked, “By what sort of power, or in what name [that is, by what kind of authority], did you do this [healing]?”
◆ Then Peter, filled with [the power of] the Holy Spirit and spoke and stayed wondering
◆ Our mouth will give life or kill
◆ Jesus spoke to the fig tree and it died off as He spoke to it
◆ We need to be speaking forth to the situations and they will hear us
◆ We must speak to the sorcerers, bars, adultery, etc and stop them completely they will hear us
◆ When we get deliverance, God is going to give us the authority
□ To uproot and break down
□ To destroy and to overthrow
□ To build and to plant.
◆ The singers should deeply seek God to give you songs that will change people to turn to God
◆ We should not panic if they falsely talk to us because God is there to frustrate the signs and confounding the omens of boasters (false prophets),
◆ Making fools out of fortune-tellers,
Counteracting the wise and making their knowledge ridiculous
