First, Marinette would never say something like "yes, I'm Ladybug", she would make up some excuse. Because she knows that she cannot reveal her secret identity because she could run a great risk from Lila or Chloe,She could run a huge risk if she reveals herself like this, her parents wouldn't let her save the world because they would think "my god our daughter was in danger all this time" so they wouldn't If it works then that's it and erases their memories.
