I believe that the ground radar lock can be useful in PvE mode on floating convoys that are impossible to lock with TV tracking. thanks for the radar tutorial anyways, straight to the point, and with a great choice of music. perfect 👌
is this WT or a radar tutorial for heli pilots in the 80s lol once again amazing job, you should cover radar for jets since they are pretty much in constant use in higher BR's and alot of people dont know how to use them

One thing that I forgot to mention was that you can also go out and play assault ground arcade and assault air arcade to get 300% RP and SL boosters. It increases your grind significantly, up to 80k SL and 9K RP per 10 minutes. Making the grind much easier, remember that your vikhr missiles can also elevate and depress, this is really nice but when you have lag it's going to be a bit problematic and the missile is going to be outside of the control Zone, commonly down. Also inorder to make the heli PVE more intresting for yourself try listening to podcasts , change controls mode to have Simulator experience, or listening to music or modify the textures and install sound mods if you play on PC. @@Bob_Dickinson Your content is really good, keep it up. I'm probably about to start my Ka-52 grind since I have the Ka-50 and Mi-24A already researched tough I don't know how much RP you get in heli pve, let's see. The Mi-28NM I would say is slightly better then the Ka-52 purely because of MTI which is by far the best heli radar mode. On the Japanese Apache I don't touch A-G radar since I find it useless, i keep it at A-A and use it as a early warning system against fighters.
@@Ropetor thanks! Tbh i love both ka 52 and mi28nm. Good luck on your grind, just remember you have to grind 1 extra helicopter and may take the grind longer, if u want the mi 28NM. But the good thing is that the mi 28N gets 4 ATAKA missiles instead of 2 ATGMs on the ka 29. I personally went for ka 50 first cuz... well im more comfortable to grind the mi 28 with ka 52. As for their radar, mi 28 has a better radar. Has bmp2 gun on a chained turret. Feels faster and maneuverable. gl on your grind man! Ill try my best to make the video ASAP.
@@Bob_Dickinson i'm going kamov first, i absolutely adore the look of the Ka-52 and coaxial rotors overall, MTI while nice to have is a gimmick that doesn't change much the performance. Not worth the extra grind
I have to make a request for a video on the G-LYNX at some point, it is by far my favorite heli as I have about 1500+ battles in it, and the way it handles makes it very nice to use on the battlefield. Keep up the good content!

Alot of ppl dont know how to use a radar. Radars in helicopters are diffrent than aircraft radars alittle bit. I made this guide so anyone who wants to learn how to use a radar wouldnt have a problem. Because the first time I got my AH-64D there was no guide on helicopter radars. I had to figure it out all by myself.
@@Bob_Dickinson Personally i use radar only to scan for air targets because almost all the helicopters with radars also have thermals, so ground radar is useless, but air radar helps to detect enemy jet
@@KETVA_most radars do a nice job at arial scan. Specially the AH-64D Longbow and the mi28NM. I feel like ground radar is there for the future missiles that are not here yet.
