she tried to avoid the dispute, no one can deny that. Especially when she becomes a mother, and that young girl who is brave and fearless to be queen stays in the background. However, she had an important role, not only her but also her blood. I think it's interesting that the series shows many scenes of her losing blood, whether giving birth or being hurt by Alicent, but also when she lose her son. As if showing the difficult path of survival of their descendants.
ah yes, after i cried because of ep 10, you decide to legit kill me. also, i was like legit sooooo sad and depressed wathcing the ep cause i really didnt know who to believe, what was going on in their heads, and what will happen in season 2. especially daemon *screaming crying*
Huh? Daemon doesn't scream and cry -he gets even. I have a feeling he's going to go after the Green's after Luce's death because it broke Rhaenyra's heart. He is NOT having that!
The writing and pacing of ep 10 is bs and they assassinated daemon’s character. Felt so wrong and so bad for what they did to Rhaenyra. She deserves a ep1-8 daemon in difficult time like this!! 😢she had so little in her life and they took one of her greatest solace away from her! Never forget, never forgive!
The writing was excellent and Daemon's character was not assassinated. Daemon clearly loves Rhaenyra, but that doesn't mean he's not going to hold a tight grip around her neck to get a serious point across. Daemon was terrified that Rhaenyra would die in childbirth and that's why he focused on planning the war. Rhaenyra knows him so well, she said "He's going mad or planning his war." He was planning the war so he wouldn't go mad. When she called his name he lost focus -regained his composure and continue. He did take the guards outside to torture them with death if they betrayed her. In his mind he was not accepting her death in childbirth. When Rhaenyra became quiet he went to check on her. He saw the woman he loved rocking their deceased child in her arms. The effect it had on him seeing this brought him to his knees! So no, Daemon is still Daemon, and we are most likely going to see a different side to him after Luce's death, because that was another heartbreak for his wife. Not to mention Daemon seems close to the boys. All this had to happen for the war to begin. Viserys died, Alicent lied to her, Alicent threatened Rhaenys to bend the knee to Aegon, showed his coronation in front of the people, and this brought on her premature labor. Then she loses Luce, who was close to his mother. She changed, and anyone would if they went through all that. She tried several times to be peaceful -even against Daemon's warnings. Now, it's war.
@@lisas3545 you are aware that many nice and meaningful moments of Daemon were improv done by Matt not the showrunners. Also, Ryan Condal and Sara Hess recently were on a “press tour” grudging with audiences and fam base. They basically showed no understanding and continuingly trash Daemon’s character…they flip flop a lot. The recent one is Condal think that Daemon cursed Luke by singing to Vermithor. All the saving graces that allow Daemon to still be Byronic hero were done by some female directors/ writers and Matt. And you are here writing this lengthy defense helping Condal and Sara Mess🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
@@bethol5968 You continue to blame the writers, when the final say will not go into production unless it has the blessing of George RR Martin and the showrunners. It's ridiculous to blame Hess because you do not agree with Martin. It is his story. He is the executive producer and also overseeing the writing. Hess was a part of the team that spent hours going through Martin's books and piecing what happened together because the books were made of lore. So, anything that was seen thus far and the fans did not like it -Martin ultimately had the last say. Smith knows his character so well, that he may be the one telling them to remove the moving scenes that are not true to his character.
