So near and yet so far”, mused the villagers of Salamjee, a remote hamlet nestled amidst serene landscapes, and yet untouched by motor roads. The only lifeline connecting Salamjee to the outside world was a precarious suspension bridge stretched over the tumultuous waters of the Sunkosh River. This bridge stood as a symbol of resilience, enduring the whims of nature and serving as the gateway for villagers to traverse towards the bustling business hub that lay across the highway, just a stone throw away yet seemingly unreachable.
This documentary captures the essence of Salamjee transformation.
