"Alive and Kicking" is a song released by the Scottish rock band Simple Minds as the lead single from their seventh album, Once Upon a Time. The song reached number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number four in Canada; it peaked within the top five of several European countries including Italy, where the song reached number one. It only reached #21 in Australia which was a little disappointing given it was top 10 in most of the world.

Simple Minds do euphoric so well. I saw them play this live in 1986. What a timelessly great song. The incredible vocalist is Robin Clark, who also sung on Bowie’s Young Americans.

Filmed in the Catskill Mountains near Palenville, NY; sites include the Kaaterskill Falls, North-South Lake, and the summit that was the site of a once famous hotel called The Catskill Mountain House where various US presidents stayed

Seen some 4k revision that have bad audio quality and this one is PERFECT. keep up the good work. Nobody ever talked about the singer much and he is a little goofy looking, but he is one of the few that can give me goose bumps. I guess it's kinda stunning IMO.

Graduated 86'. I was, still am a Van Halen nut. But these guys created the anthems of my youth. They were between Steely Dan of the 70's and Dave Mathews of the 90's. The had a run of amazing, sonic songs. Van Halen love that I have, their songs were the songs of my high school. They killed it. In my mind, there is not 1 note of their songs that should be changed. In their time, they delivered shock and awe. We would put on a new record from them and just sit back. Then get hit in the face with this "sonic" thing that they did. I hope these songs are hear 100 years from now.

Wow this looks amazing. The audio is a bit up and down at some points, but otherwise stellar. A lot of subtleties from Debbie's performance such as the facial expressions are fascinating.
