This is a part 2 to the videos of me singing in a restaurant in Rome, Italy. This one was dedicated to the man wearing a white shirt you see me singing to in the video, Claudio. He was very kind and helped me to get permission to play on the organ at the Basilica of Sant'Agostino. I only had a few hours to learn this song due to most of the days being jam-packed with traveling and visiting holy sites, so I admit to a couple word slip-ups. 😅
"Volare" is an interesting song because it can be seen as having a double meaning. The song talks about flying high up in the clouds, but it can also be interpreted as flying up to Heaven, close to God. Many people do not think about this, but I think it's a cool way of thinking about this well-known song!
