Input is different, but most pros use paddles and elite controllers, that are different from the ones other players have, which in my opinion makes it also not exactly the same conditions either for them. Many people complain about kbm but only about the good ones, there also are average ones and in any case, everyone can try a different input, I switched almost a year ago after years on controller (first video is).
@@axpew correct, most use paddles now. Before claw was the dominant method. KbM, on Gears is really OP. Since the hitbox is so high in Gears 5 and you're aiming with your entire wrist it's extremely easy to hit shots. Furthermore, the latency using mice compared gamepads is significant. You're not only using a better, more precise method, your shots also come out faster. Add in that you can use the scroll wheel to wallbounce and the gap widens even more. In my opinion, games that had KnM in mind like Counterstrike are fine. But this game has significant tuning issues that tilt the matches heavily in K&M favor. There's a reason why you stuck with it, no?
@@allansm66 I think kbm is superior for many players who don't do really good. TBH I think movement control is better on controller, even with scroll wheel movement and all. An issue might be that game is kind of casual still. Powerz, Acells, Dysz and Toti were winning games back to back to the best KBM players, like Teddy, Aurora and Fox, not to mention they lost even to other wager controller players as 4 too. Aim assist, faster back a and other things. In the end skillful controller players defenitively can win me and even best KBM. My advice is just to use the input you are better on. I think kbm is superior but it might not be for everyone. Personally, I just sticked to kbm cause I had decent kb and m so wanted to use it, and challenge to learn the other input. You can be really good on any you want, better than mayority grinding on any input even tho both have benefits and disadvantages
Not exactly imo, I simply rarely ever stack at least as 4 with kbm players, really hard to get games and idc about winrate or anything. I might invite friends or a viewer sometimes, that not often are kbm players. Half the time I'm solo and run as duo or 3 maybe sometimes. OFC I also think it's harder to go against GOOD kbm players than the average players, but simply cause they are good at the game. I do bad plays ofc, and even often, but everyone does, but also everyone gets away with it if they can make a good job after that, not something attached to the input.
