Was in a Birthday Massacre rabbit hole on here and caught sight of my Chibi art on the suggested videos list, thanks for crediting me! Great list as well :)
I wrote a mythology... The Muse Ellendeh born in a well where she learnt to whisper as the well screamed back is hoisted out of her well by spirits when it rains, and carried over a swamp land where all arts is sinking, to the temple of etherith to tell the Etherith Tale of the end of reality and a caricature of beaty, and speak of the female deities it holds axis goddess of the imagination who rides in circles behind the gate of imagination and who is freed by nhaevrhael muse of inspiration reality is created out of dream in a kiss of the goddess of sadness and the goddess of hate at the courts of the spirit world anaehtheana is sent from hell where the goddess of hate has an empire all for arts, and will build one city of beauty at the end of reality something like that we should also speak of the army of rothhalm where all soldiers are trapped in an arena screaming and pounding on the walls and the angels of the north who are cursed to paint and plant all seasons themselves and paint the flowers and insert the leaves If you want to be my Gustave Dore or Alphonse Mucha let me know ;) will be on youtube soon!!
@@a.e.deellendeh9029 Ehhh... This is how human, mind react when touch the memories of god. You touch the feeling, but miss the words. My child, just be calm and live with respect to the other mirrors, like we live. If you find the answers, even the small parts of rock, it is a whole mountain of them, and next after a first one. All of them are true and are not. And by fact , religion is used for actual type of myths. Terminology "mythology" mean in "modern times" noone exist who will take it serious ;) If you want to write something, just name it "you dont find any mythology and fact here ", and you will see how much non worth creation will come :P
Every time I listen to The Birthday Massacre they take my breath away, even after all this time. Composition and performance are exceptional, some of the best produced and delivered music there is. A truly amazing band. ❤
Is anyone else here pretty well everyday? Or some other high frequency of visits? How are you? What's up lately? Where are ya's from? Im from Canada. Been listening to TBM for about ten years now, maybe eleven or twelve. I was at least 15 then, 27 now. I got into Metallica after being raised on rock and hair metal, then ventured into all things wierd or dark or creepy. Found TBM while on the VampireFreaks site. The moment I saw that site adverted on some forum page I thought "I bet I'll find some good music there". I feel like all the old sites used to have music sections. Newgrounds is still going hard with artists these days. Anyone remember Evil Dog and his Punk-O-Matic? lol
I found out about this band today because my English teacher said he is friends with one of the members!! He told me this bc I gave a presentation about Malice Mizer, and he says he knows a rock bands that he think I'd like! I LOVE THIS SM IM SO HAPPY I FOUND OUT ABT THEM
Discovered them 5 years ago. Some pure and mystical energy in their music. And her vocals are just sick with these sounds, and also a guitar… unreal. Red stars. Kill the lights. Looking glass… and the most sensual - To die for. The birthday massacre now forever with me!
Just discovered this band randomly, just happened to press "play" on one of their tunes----in the dark---and I'm hooked forever. Really dig the haunting/ sad kinda vibe I get from their tunes. All great musicians, whoever plays keys is fucking fantastic. Love this band from here on out.
Listening deep into the night, feeling forever glad for this perfect playlist...And for for you as well, Happy Late Birthday to ya! your now 25 and SO alive!..🍻🎁
I genuinely don't understand how they are so underrated and not really well known. The music is just sooo goooddd and unique. They deserve so much more.
@@mellineko Yeah, was at a cd store back in 2007 and was just shopping for a random album I never heard before and when I saw the cover artwork for "Walking with Strangers" I just had to buy it and that was one of my best finds ever. I remember putting it in my cars CD player and being like "WHAT THE FUCK!??!! This is insane!". Unfamiliar is one of my favorite songs by them for sure.
YES MY FRIEND THIS BAND HAS ALWAYS DONE THAT TO ME .. I CAN BARELY LISTEN TO THEM WITHOUT RECALLING SO MANY MEMORIES AND DEEP THOUGHTS .. BUT YES IT ALWAYS TAKES ME BACK TO THE TIMES WHEN I WAS LISTENING TO BIRTHDAY MASSACRE AND WHAT WAS GOING ON IN MY LIFE AT THE TIME AND ALSO REMINDS ME OF GOTHIC FRIENDS FROM THE PAST VERY MUCH ... AND ALSO HITS THE DEEPEST PARTS OF WHO I AM AND HOW MUCH I AM NOSTALGIC AND SENTIMENTAL OVER PAST TIMES AND MEMORIES WITH LOVERS FAMILY AND FRIENDS .. AND I THINK IT IS BECAUSE THE MUSIC IS SO MYSTERIOUS AND EVOKES THE DEEPEST PARTS OF US .. THIS BAND IS MORE THEN A BAND .. AND I SOMETIMES CRY WHEN LISTENING TO THEM .. :)
I have been thinking the same thing... Its hard to put my finger on, but somewhat like what it felt when you was 10 year old kid who got caught while trying to steal cookies from the jar, but also kinda like when you were sitting with fellow kids until dusk rise, playing resident evil on ur old PS1... Magic you never get back
В первые познакомился с творчеством этой группы когда ещё сам активно играл в рок группе ещё в 2009. Знакомство произошло с такого шедевра как Looking Glass - The Birthday Massacre. Ищу девушку с подобным музыкальным предпочтениям 😜
I definitely thought that I was about to hear a cover of “now that you’re here, now that I’ve found you” which IS an 80’s song. She did technically steal a bit of the sound for sure, like legally speaking (not sure how to go into explaining it and it almost midnight here but it’s sort of the same way Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby copied Queen and David Bowie’s feat: Under Pressure)but despite that I didn’t feel annoyed listening to it and instead of sounding “knock off ish” it was more of a pleasant reminder. I hope that when you said that the album itself gave you a nostalgia feeling that you had been referring to the entire album and not just this one song because it’s hard to find music with that true 80’s feel or from any of the decades or styles. Every now and then when I followed my ex, who was a truly talented bassist (he practiced relentlessly for hours daily and knew Les Claypool, Wootan (spelling?) and Jaco Pastorious.so not just the lazy boring bassist)and sometimes I’d get to hear some bands that nearly had that sound. If you’re interested, classic rock is actually a version of true country
I first became familiar with the singer when she was the singer in a group call Mono in 1997. She had somewhat of a hit with Mono called "Life in Mono".
The singer of Mono is Emma bunton, not Chibi (aka Sara Taylor) from TBM, and they are two different singers. Perhaps you are thinking of their previous band Imagica?
@@avalonspawn From my understanding, Emma Bunton was a member of the Spice Girls. When I search for "who sang life in mono" by Mono, the name Siobhan de Maré is listed as the lead singer for Mono.
Haunting so very haunting, eeriest undertones this tune has.. Birthday massacre great to listen to in car driving down motorway at top speed widow's down, volume cranked up! 💟.
You are, in fact, an artist (Spare me next time, okay?)(You got that much of a compliment,, from of all people me.)(...post 2000s... kind of the star in the late 90s)()(me.)(dream ) Different band, in my opinion Need more of the sarcasm expression or expressiveness "about stupid things to deal with." You're actually the ones who missed out.alot.
Red Stars has been my phone's ringtone for almost 12 years now! Love this band since they came out. I wish Hot Topic was as dark now as they were then. Every album has created magic🤗
The simple fact that any and ALL of us true Birthday Massacre fans here can listen to this playlist and say outright that these are not only SOME of their best songs but can still add to this list and then say, “There really isn’t a bad song on this list.” speaks VOLUMES (pun intended) to how amazingly talented and special The Birthday Massacre truly is! Thank you to everyone who makes The Birthday Massacre who they are and that includes ALL of us fans here!
I was 29 when I discovered them 6 years ago. I didnt realize how much their music helped me through a dark time in my life. So many of these songs became favorites, I would be upset I didnt find them sooner but knew I did when I had to in a sense. I still love TBM and it was nice to open my laptop and see this mix was randomly playing after I forgot to shut off youtube. It hasnt been too long since I listened to them but thats even too long!
I discovered them in 2010. That was when I had a really good job in a machine shop. They let use the internet for our own music through our iPhones. Could only have one earbud I for safety reasons and to listen to our machine working. Yes they are a really great band and I have heard they are really friendly with fans. It would be great to see them someday. Was hooked as soon as I heard the first song. Godspeed to you!
I found.. The Birthday Massacre four years ago.. I went down the rabbit hole .. pun intended.. my Favorite band ever . TBM.. Til I take that dirt nap..💜💜🖤🖤
Holy shit haven't heard this group in a long time but I did have a good couple years of mixing them in my rotation. This filled my soul...also why was this suggested under my BT album listen. Happy accident imo.
У них каждая песня по своему хороша , кайф нереальный , это ощущение не передать , осталось найти вторую половинку которая тоже любит эту группу 👍💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜😍🔥🤗😀
I used to play Birthday Massacre at work all the time and my boss would be like "this music is soooo depresssssinng!!" meanwhile the customers loved it lol. Thanks for the flashback when I used to be a little weirdo working at the mall
Yeah know what ya mean, I was often called a reject for been a fan of gothic rock music such as birthday massacre, but I just really love it all, ha! From Anne Dickie...
