There was too many misunderstandings that happened because fauna was having trouble controlling her units which i thinks is so hilarious because everyone freaks out from the unconventional movements.

Everybody was minding their own business. But that all changed when "ourokronii started building a Wonder!"

It's just gold how Fauna just sit there, resources lines secured, to jump straight to "Ok, what's the best troop this civilization have?", then proceed to spam it for the win.

My favorite part about the fauna elephant strategy was just how she had like 15-20 villagers farming the entire time when she had almost zero use for food whatsoever. Can't wait to see all the fanart of Fauna commanding a herd of elephants

There's something about how calmly Fauna says, _“I'm on a rampage.”_ at 16:33 that is just hilarious.

I find it funny how Fauna was just playing casually while Kiara and Reine thought she was being sweaty and meta-gaming. Kiara even said that next time they can't use chat for help, thinking they were directing Fauna's victory when in reality they were just teaching her how to play the game and spamming Fauna Sweep.

I was listening to this stream while on my way to grab a couple of drinks with a friend so I missed the second half, but the moment I noticed she got so deep into gaming kirin mode that there were no tangents or engaging anecdotes, only discussion of what was currently happening in game, I just knew things were going to get ugly for everyone else.

Poor Anya, she is the bloodthirsty one while Fauna felt like that one person who kept bumping into every vase in the shop accidentally yet somehow managing to burn down the shop as well. It was an adorable rampage.

This was crazy to watch, especially from all perspectives. Anya was just along for the ride while Fauna went from 0 to Hannibal crossing the Alps and opened a can of whoopass across the landscape. Gotta tip my hat to Kiara as well, she performed admirably in the early game and made a valiant stand against Fauna's doomstack. Hope to see them do another match soon. Notable that a lot of holomems dropped in to watch. AoE make for great spectating.

Fauna actually barely read chat the entire stream. She mostly just consulted them about game mechanics and stuff. Most of Fauna's chat was just memeing about going to war with everyone. The only reason why she pushed into Reine's base was because she thought Reine was attacking her by placing that castle there.

Watching this again in all pov, turn out everything Fauna did were just happy accidents 😂. Things just happened “naturally”.

Since I saw some people are talking about "Dang those Elephants are so OP", I would like to add some context from the actual competitive scene of AoE2 (yes, AoE2 is actually having a second golden age and has a great competitive scene nowadays): 1. Persian War Elephant is stupidly strong, but it's also stupidly expensive. It's basically almost never used competitively in 1 vs 1 thanks to this and the fact that it being countered by the cheapest unit in the game (swarms of pikes) AND can be stolen by Monk and you can't really do anything about that counter. Fauna managed to trample everything because her opponents let her built them to the number where even their counter (halberdiers/pikes) can't really counter them anymore thanks to Elephant's trample (splash) damage. 2. Another reason why this strategy work is that Fauna is the only player here who managed to built an actual economy that could support massive army and invested enough in trade. Kiara and Reine did some trade to lesser degree, but they often forget to build reinceforcements and organize their economy while they are busy attacking -- Fauna most of the time keep looking back at her base to keep building more units so once she went with pressure everyone have no time to rebuilt army. 3. Last important detail: The biggest weakness of every single casual AoE players is that every begginer never thought of building multiple production buildings (e.g Barracks) to make units -- this applies to everyone here. However, Kiara and Fauna could spam their unique units because they happened to make multiple castles for defense and area control purpose, enabling them to actually utilize their resources to fight (Kiara's TTK sadly just got countered by Elephants). On the other hand, Halberdiers/Pikes are SUPER cheap and don't require gold -- they could easily outnumber and counter Elephants. The problem is that thanks to the fact that they almost never intentionally make multiple production buildings to build units, they are never pumped in enough numbers to counter the number of Elephants that happend to be pumped from multiple Castles. You can't compete against three castles with just one barrack!

15:30 nobody was telling her anything, it was natural to progress west after repelling the attack on Anya and having dealt with Reine castles in that direction already. It was also already Fauna's plan to spam elephants, she said at the beginning it's why she picked Persians.

I just love it when Hololive talents play a multiplayer game. Especially if it is a strategy game, the way they think is unconventional.

Getting the different viewpoints stitched together makes me better understand the dangers of having jumpy border guards. The first half was a series of both sides being surprised that they were under attack by the other and certain the other shot first, and it would turn into all-out war as they read intent to escalate into each other that didn’t exist.

Kiara started off pretty strong. If she and Reine had gone after Fauna instead of Anya after interrupting Kronii's Wonder attempt she might have even had a chance to win, but after all the fighting (and by not constantly replacing her units as they were getting killed like Fauna was), her forces were too weak to put up a defense against Fauna's counterattack, and by then she had mentally checked out as well.

I like how they keep building castle in enemy territory, and kiara said i can build more, i just frowned because materials, but in the end its Faunasweep!
